SUBS: HAYTON, RUSSELL, JALO, LEWIS, BLAND, RODRIGUES, HUMPHRYS.

Kieren Flavell makes his first EFL start in goal in place of the injured Jackson Smith. Donovan Pines replaces Marc Roberts, who is out with concussion, and Kelechi Nwakali comes in for Jon Russell. Fabio Jalo on the bench.
That?s not what it says on the official site.
But got to say - I prefer your lineup.

The lineups Hourihane is putting out is convincing me that I don?t want him as HC.

Least said the better about that performance and result .

I can't really find one positive thing to say right now , we are absolutely dreadful and Cambridge are the second worst team in the league and may finish rock bottom come May .

The really worrying aspect is that there appears to be very little hope of things improving anytime soon because the ownership are so far out of their depth it's actually bordering on criminality .

I really believe the club are in significant trouble and we may do well next season to retain our league one status plus the small matter of the crippling costs the ownership are having to service just to keep us in business .

Awful. Slightly better with the changes. I would go with Russell and Nwakali for the remainder of the season. Jalo had his ice boots on, the surface water didnt help.
Though Flavell could have done better for the goal, Bland wants to go forward, and i think he could, but it looks like he is being told ?everything has to go into the midfield first?
Like him or not, Russell improves the team.
Struggled to score against a team 12 points from safety.
    In general, Awful to watch.

Changing to a back 4 and bringing some keen young lads on got us a point which to be fair was well deserved , the first half was awful but Bland who I thought was excellent and Jalo brought energy and trickery which we have been missing big time and in the end sustained pressure got us a point , I thought Philips and Humphries were poor and you have to feel for Benson who was clearly upset when he got injured again , Flavell did him self no harm with an assured display and was no way to blame for Cambridge"s opener but it was overall a poor display in awful conditions but as I said in an earlier post that these matches will sort out who wants to be here and who wants away, the youngsters did very well whilst one or two of our supposedly better players left an impression that the season cannot end fast enough for them.

First half was awful and a depressing watch. Second half I thought was slightly better even though we still didn?t test their goalkeeper loads.

Jalo looked very good when he came on and needs to be playing as much as possible between now and the end of the season. If he has a good end of season and then pre season, he could be a big player for us next season.

Bland looked very good when he came on. Certainly didn?t look out of place.

I think someone needs to tell Humphrys to stay in the box. Today too many balls were in and around the box and he was nowhere to be seen, stood outside the box watching on.

It was that bad it was laugh out loud laughable.
We moved the ball quicker but it didn?t go anywhere.
In fact I would say the players now think that the season is over and they are already on the beach.
On this, and last weeks performances Hourhane hasn?t a cat in hells chance of getting the job.
The players obviously don?t respect him and don?t want him there.

The good Barnsley have got compared to Cambridge - and Cambridge were the more organised and hungry team.

I didn?t watch yesterday and haven?t got any comments regarding the performance. The scorline wasn?t predicted by anyone so I picked up the computer this morning expecting the team and our owners (after his latest press statement) to be getting pelters, and deservedly so. However there?s virtually nothing on social media and I can only rationalise that as apathy and an acceptance of the reality that the decline has been accepted. There?s nothing we as supporters can do about it other than other than voice our views but it looks like most have given up on that as well.

What a Shyte show this is and it saddens me.
