Bruno was in great form, what was that like man? 😅. Those guys deserve all the plaudits and marvellous to see the backroom staff get a moment too.

    That is tremendous.

For me yesterday was the best example Ive yet seen of what we already know: the absolutely inseparability of Newcastle United Football Club and the city of Newcastle.
The city needs the club and the club needs the city.
The club is never strong without the whole city behind it and, now, it feels like were back to the entertainers period level of support. We can become an unstoppable force in English football.

    God help the opposition!!!

    Nail on the heed Topsterinho!

hundreds of thousands of people enjoyed the day. Only 2 arrested (there's always gonna be a couple of knobheads) & one taken to the RVI.

Pretty remarkable. Had this been in Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham or else where these stats would have been double digits!

    Well put, TT.

That's one thing I really felt, standing on the Moor yesterday. It was a proper example of us being united in the truest sense. The club and the city are synonymous with each other and together are greater than the sum of their parts.

Just reflecting on the day, looking at the stunning pictures showing just how many people were there...man, it was just glorious.

It does make me think, though, that, if the 'project' pans out as everyone hopes, 65,000 new seats may be selling ourselves a little short? Yeah, I know yesterday was extraordinary on a number of levels but it does show what could be?

Aye man, said it before. A stadium 70-80k with retractable corner seats to allow a bigger capacity for big games or to host at big concerts/events. It is possible these days. It would be great to "out do" the circus tent in Manchester and future proof it with room to develop.

Is there a better picture to sum up what Newcastle people are about than this?

    Well said TT.

I saw someone else say that the numbers will have been taken note of for stadium capacity numbers.
