I love the yellow piping around the shoulders and collar on the 2008 Forward shirt 😏

Personally, I don’t mind the yellow on the shirts. The early 90s Home Bitter ones were nice. And, as has been said, the relegation one was lovely imo. Bad memories, but a classy look.
I just hope we end up with a new sponsor tbh. The Red…..nope for me.

This seasons have been not right at all. Too dark at home. Actually like the orange hi-vis one! Find it slightly frustrating when we play in the purple one so often as I couldn’t get one of those when they were released on the day, so will forever hold a grudge!

    I wonder why?

I remember the green always sticking out a bit for my personal choice! But I’m a stickler for sponsors on the shirt. I see the financial aspects, totally, but always prefer the shirt without. In fact a thread on here a few years back about using a liquid to remove the transfer off the shirt came close to being tried out. It was only the wife who said ‘there’s no chance you’re spending ?50 on a shirt to ruin it in the first half hour!’ That put pay to that.

No thanks, I'm happy to think of the yellow trim as something we had for a time.

We should double down more on the black and white as a big part of our identity like Newcastle do. When I see all their fans with the black and white scarves, I think we mess about too much with all white, or too much black, and bringing other colours in.

Also true. I realise there?s money to be made each year, but the basic premise has moved at Notts. We?ve not had a truly recognisable period since the 90s I?d say.
    Black and white stripes. Simples.

I thought it made the shirt look environmentally friendly 🤷*♂️

    This,

broad, black and white stripes, black shorts, no frills.

I hate what has been done with the England kit as well, absolute aberrations and getting worse IMHO.
