4 games to go in a very tight Championship and maybe we can still end up in the top 6 but while getting into the playoffs is where we should aim to be, actual promotion is something else entirely. Main thing for me is to build on this win and start scoring goals again in addition to putting in good performances as we look to continuing the rebuild next season.

Hopefully some lessons to be learnt from today too and TM will take note regarding team selection! Only 39% possession today as well as opposed to our recent 60% proving (as if we didn't know already) that possession isn't everything. Also today's ratio of 5 shots on target out of 10 isn't brilliant but it's a darned sight better than the 3 out of 20 we've been achieving recently.

Lankshear made all the difference up front. Big, strong and capable of turning the defenders. He got a lot of man-handling which the crap ref kept waving aside, the one occasion he was bear-hugged to the ground and the Ref waved play on. However the lad should have had a hat-trick if I am honest and that could have cost us as we inevitably still played careless balls and made unforced mistakes that you just knew Watford would get a goal from our sloppy play and make 20 mins with injury a nervy time. As for the subs, did not understand bringing Armstrong on for Lankshear. I would have expected Dike on as like for like and continue with the wingers causing them problems with crosses and pull-backs and Dike's strength and power. As for bringing Diangana on, the last thing we needed was another lightweight in midfield with Watford's big strong players. I also thought Mowatt had a bit of a mare and misplaced a lot of passes and got caught on the ball a few times too.
