Five teams could still make the playoffs, but it will definitely be Salford if they beat Carlisle. The winner of Grimsby v Wimbledon would also be guaranteed a place in the playoffs.

The lowest we can now finish is 6th, the highest 3rd.

Doncaster could also lose to us by the odd goal and still win the title if Port Vale fail to beat Gillingham.

I really didn't expect us to be still in contention for autos after today - it's not impossible Fleetwood could win. So we have to go for it

Trouble is Doncaster will be going for it too

Looks to me like Wimbledon will be dropping out altogether.

Our most likely play-off opponent looks to be Salford. If so, buckle up for maximum unpleasantness/****housery and a Maynard v Robinson mismatch

That is good if they go for it we struggle against teams who sit in mainly it’s going to be an open game I think.

As for Salford let’s wait and see they have to get the points first we already have them.

Even in my most optimistic thoughts I didn't see us still being in with a shout of automatic promotion after today. In fairness, we could easily have been 2 or 3 down before we scored, but it did feel like we had some luck today... Of the right variety for a change!

No National League North champions medal for Ryley Reynolds or Cal Roberts. Kidderminster blew it in the final league game of the season and S****horpe were pipped by Brackley Town.

I just read that Carlisle will face an 834-mile round trip to Truro City in the National League next season after their relegation from the EFL today.

didn't Carlisle have the biggest budget in the league this season? No ex BT, and two high profile managers.

Notts fans are right to be obsessed with the insane slings and arrows of our own chaotic fortune, but apparently things do get worse.

<3 goes out to Carlisle fans

Chesterfield look completely out of it. They'd need Carlisle to get something against Salford, right?

If we do play Salford, final opponents could be juicy if other semi is Walsall v Grimsby
