    Ludicrous decision, I don't know how he could be nominated in the first place, regardless of his achievements in the first half of the season. It makes a bit of a mockery of the award to be honest

    It is ludicrous
    NBA qualification to make these teams or awards is 65 of 82 games, so up near 80%. Seems like EFL don't know the basics of managing their own awards.

    Given Notts themselves have a supporters player of the year minimum appearance of 15, why should the EFL be different?

    I get that Abbott has played well.. however, the lad who got the award was clearly a damn fine performer as Walsall?s form has fell off a cliff since he left. I suspect it?s this that?s secured Lowe the award.
