A half decent first half from us with the most of the pressure created by us. First 12 mins Cotter in very positions twice to get a telling ball in and fluffed in both.

Only poor point LEMBIKISA on 26 mins pratting about just outside box on the right and allowed them in to miss a sitter.

If Barry Cotter is a winger then Adam Hammill is a goalkeeper.

Agree to a certain extent Poggs but credit for that ball into Russell for the second goal because that was very good. Yes, his end product can be much better and he lacks composure but his pace and directness causes problems. He's not a winger but not a full back either, more suited as a wing back imo but the lad has always given his all in a Barnsley shirt and if all the team had showed his kind of commitment this season then we'd be higher up the league this season. One I'd keep personally cos he can only improve.

Excellent performance today and a fully deserved victory. I feared the worst today with how the last few weeks have gone, but we played some very good football and displayed some excellent movement in Readings half and threatened throughout the game. That was coupled by a bit more resilience and fight than we've witnessed this season. Nice to see a 90min performance. Well done lads. Cheered me right up did that. We want to see this on a regular basis.

I would say that?s probably the best full 90 mins display we have given in the entire season.
    Over to the board.
Nice to see Doncaster and Bradford City come up so let?s hope Chesterfield can do it via the playoffs to round it off nicely.

Yes Poggs agree. More local derbies only adds interest next season. Bradford promoted with an injury time winner. Scenes at Valley Parade were amazing but their mass support deserves success. Fair play to em and happy for em. Good football club who have dragged 20k plus attendances in their last few home games. In league 2 that is unheard of.

Here is a stat fron Doug O’Kane.

Just your 100 per cent pass completion from Davis Keillor-Dunn today.

    Plus the two goals.

    Some player.

Incredible I just hope we don’t give him away !

To us he is priceless, to any would be buyer he is only worth what they are willing to pay, we certainly had Mansfields pants down now lets hope no one does the same to us , the key to it is how desperate are the club for a sale and what effect that has on any club bidding , if they know we are desperate then we will get ripped , lets hope we play hard ball and even more lets hope he is here in August but I am not holding my breath, he has been one of the few positives in this grim season , the other is the emergence of Bland .

Well the player himself will have ambitions to play in the championship and the financial package that goes with that .

It's often a tricky situation is this , the player has clearly outgrown us and has earned the right to play higher up and won't be happy if bids are turned down that chain him here , we've seen how this works out with Styles and to a lesser extent Kitching .

I think if we get 2 million we've probably done alright .
