Hard luck Claw and good luck for next season ,maybe it will be your turn to get into the VAR infested money ridden Premier league.

It seems almost inevitable that we will back in the Championship after just one season in the EPL.

After the promotion euphoria I looked at our team yesterday and we are way short on EPL quality.

Word is Brownhill and Old Mother Riley are off to pastures new, Barnes is going on the coaching staff and I'm not at all sure Edwards is EPL quality either.

If we are to buck the trend of 3 up, 3 down, somehow Parker needs to pull about ten rabbits out of his hat, but he may well be plying his trade next season in North London. What next for us?

The stark fact is that without this promotion we would have been in a bit of financial bother, so let's sit back and bask in the EPL sun and strap in for another rollercoaster ride.

It will be a blow of course if we lose both Josh Brownhill and CJ E-R.They have been key players this season. Perhaps Beyer will be ready to slot in to defence alongside Esteve. Brownhill with his knack of scoring goals will definitely be difficult to replace. I hope most of all Parker stays with us. That would give us a better chance of bucking the get promoted, go straight back down trend of recent teams coming up from the Championship.

I agree BT.Trafford(probably off), Esteve(could be off), Edwards(gone off the boil but has the ability),Brownhill(could be off)and Amdouni(unknown) are our PL standard players. You cannot miss the sitters we have missed this season in the PL simply because those chances are very few in the top flight.
We would need a good big striker(like Ings) a strong midfield talisman(like Ross Barkley at Luton last season) and a couple of technically gifted players to create space(Cullen is too small in my opinion).
I say keep the majority of the squad and take the money and run.The financial stability of the club is more important than the VAR and plastic fan infested PL status.Championship is far more entertaining.Try and make a living out of being a yo yo club.

It will be interesting if we can get a tune out of Ramsey next season, he looks to have filled out a bit.

We also have the weird situation with Tressor, which now reading between the lines is a mental health thing. Maybe we can get him fit over the summer

We might cash in on Trafford to raise some funs for the rest of the squad. Brownhill would be a big loss, he isn't just a decent footballer he is a leader and a good sound lad.

I believe Egan-Riley is off which will be a big loss as he and Esteve have a good understanding. We have Joe Worrall and Humphries who can do a job there but I think we might have to look for someone else. I thought Humphries was excellent at full back

We need a target man. Someone who is physically strong and can hold the ball up in the Chris Wood mould. Foster is not the man, he his unfortunately has weak as piss

Whatever happens its going to be a massive job for the recruitment team who will have to have an eye on relegation, as we don't want
to be left with any dead wood

Like I said ballcock, if we are to stand any chance of survival next season we have to pull ten more rabbits out of the hat somehow.

I agree BC but I thought Humphries was a loanee.I also thought Pires stepped up well in his absence but is way too light for the PL.

No CiB, we have an agreed commitment to buy Humphreys from Chelsea at 12 million quid.

It will be interesting to see how Hannibal performes in the Premier league. I think he will be a star performer with United thinking the same, as they slapped a 50% resale clause on his sale to us

That figure decreases the longer he stays with us ballcock. We have already stumped up 4.2 million in additional fees. Yesterday, I thought he was absolutely sensational. 100% per cent commitment and loads of skill.
