    Because I didn?t.
We did under Duff to an extent.
And we definitely did under Ismael.

But all this might be immaterial now.
Hourihane seems to have walked through the door - and because he has a recognised name in football - the club is allowing him to throw everything including the baby out with the bath water.
Recruitment changed back to managers bringing in their mates and old journeymen - and change of formation to a 433 which will obviously alter the playing style.

All in all back to short termism - which has been tried and tested time and time again and proved not to work.
It?s just desperation on the part of the directors.

Patrick came to understand short termism in football - and that?s why he changed it.
What on earth are you on about Nudger ? , this thread is a discussion about last saturdays cup final , why are you continually trying to turn it into something else ? as I have said earlier you keep having a pop about previous and now present HC"s at Oakwell , give it a rest , you say you want debate then debate last saturdays cup final , it is really not that hard .

So - let?s debate the FA Cup Final.
My thoughts throughout the game were that Palace?s style of play reminded me very much of how Ismael used to play at Barnsley.
And to a certain degree how Duff, Struber and Stendel played.
    That?s what I concentrated on.

And I?m sure most Barnsley supporters will have noticed those similarities and had Barnsley on their mind while watching the final.
As it would be near impossible for a Barnsley fan to watch that cup final and not think of their own club while doing so.

I watched and never gave my team a thought , I just enjoyed the match and especially the atmosphere , I love the underdog to come out on top and Palace deserved their day of glory , I also watched them again last night against Wolves and once again they were good value and deserved the points, they have some superb skilful individuals and a great team ethic , there crowd is 100% behind them and that comes through really well when they are being televised .

I have and are still watching my club since 1961 which is 64 years and to suggest that I do not think about Barnsley is an insult , you do not know me because if you did you would not have made such a stupid comment.

I enjoyed the cup final. After the first 10/15 minutes I thought it was going to be a very long/tough game for Palace but they managed it well after they got their goal.

    Pleased for them.

Don't you all think that enough is enough now, finally!.
This pathetic attitude and behaviour from him on here, has gone too far now.
A thread about the Fa cup final, and once again he turns it into this. 😠
