To be honest, I just about go this way to.

They can come back up in a few years.

A game against Sunlun should be a guaranteed. 6 points but, because its a derby, its more complicated for us than the other good teams in the league.
    Blades up for me.

    No, no, no, no NO!

You've got it all wrong. Sheffield winning is the ONLY answer, Go and look at yourselves in the mirror and have a word with yourselves.

Well, Blades are 2/3's of the way there, leading 1-0 with 30 odd minutes to go. They've also had a goal disallowed for a marginal offside.

    So they've done it!

I guess there's magic in them there puddles. That muddy water seems to be the elixir of 2nd tier success.

Sooooo proooooud! (In most patronising tone of voice and a little pat on the head.)

6 points, 2 great derby days, I love love love the derby. I have never understood the nerves.

Yes, losing 6 in a row infuriating, insulting, embarrassing, humiliating. All of that anger is not for them. They took advantage of a wounded, incapacitated, crippled NUFC. The owners of our club at that time and the managers are the reason we lost those matches.

Sunderland just turned up. THEY DIDN'T BEAT US. We beat ourselves.

We will destroy them twice, if we get the privilege of relegating them towards the end of the season at the Stad du Merde, that would be all the sweeter.

Beating them won't need us to get out of 2nd gear.

I'm genuinely looking forward to it!

Also great that the fans don't have to travel all the way down to Southampton, can have beers in the toon 2 hrs before kick off.

Aside from the tribalism. It's a good thing commercially for the region. Considering the political neglect, Lord knows the North East needs all the help they can get.

Six points for the Toon next season
Unless PSR gets scrapped entirely and Sunderland have another takeover, there is no way they can buy enough players to survive next season, and Derby fans must be rubbing their hands together expecting that unwanted record of the lowest ever points tally in the Premier League to finally be wiped off.

I don't think this is just bitter rivalry talking either. Sunderland look positively second-class as they are, and that team, for all their spirit, will get mauled next season in the Premier League.

Still, though, derby days are back, and it's time to show just how big the gulf in class really is these days by taking six easy points off them next season.

Man, this had better not come back to haunt me!

    Sunderland looked utterly ****e.

Worse than Ipswhich and Saints, and both of those haven't coped in the prem.
