The manager took the wrong player off, Gnonto on a yellow would have been a better substitution not to mention our Koleosho was their best player. 10 men now, not looking good.

Could have been a fairy tale ending, but alas arrivederci Italia, good game though. I think we play next wednesday but not sure what time.

Beadle made a brilliant double save to stop Spain levelling at 2-2 but for me the standout performance was Cresswell. Rock solid in defence and a real threat in Spain?s penalty area. Also credit to McAtee for turning down the chance to play in Infantino?s Club World Circus and play a starring role for his country instead.

Harvey Elliott, Liverpool new star, just the forward we need. Maatsen, who?

Beadle continues to impress, his value must be rising like Trafford's.

BT can you change this thread title to U21's euro final or similar, now we've got there?

Well we got there in the end with a comprehensive win against Holland but having just watched Germany demolish the French tonight, Saturday is going to be really bloody difficult game I reckon.

Brilliant start, Elliott's going to be a handful this season. Beadle's had nothing to do so far.
