1. So we have two spaces and after that we have to sell, temporarily/permanently deregister or release as free agents?

2. With the amount of crocks we have, 25 looks a bit thin. I?d almost say deregister a keeper and make use of the emergency rule, maybe a bit unethical though

I suspect that's down to youthful enthusiasm, the carrot of a possible leg up to the 1st team squad and, most of all, that they have played together frequently in the age groups through the years. Agbawodikeizu gets my vote ahead of the not yet signed up Roofe. It wouldn't surprise me to see some out on loan or sold or given away. Brown for one. Ward, Rooney (despite looking decent in his pre season cameos)... it will be interesting to see what JE does.

Have asked someone who should know. Given squad does not need to be registered until the close of the transfer window, its a bit previous to say who is in and out, BUT Roofe, just playing for fitness, won't be signed again, 3, possibly 4 players will be sold/loaned out depending upon circumstances, some movement expected in next two weeks, U21 players don't have to be registered apart from loans from other clubs. Over 21 Keepers do have to be registered in 25 man squad.

In the Championship, you're allowed an unlimited amount of under-21s on permanent contracts without registering them, but you would need to register any loanees among your 25 players, even if they're under-21s. Unlike the lower tiers, goalkeepers over the age of 21 also have to be registered as part of the 25-man squad in the Championship.

Indeed, U21s don't have to be registered in the "25" except for incoming loanees.

Presumably why Eustace wants another CB? If he gets a CB who can also play RB, which by from what I've heard is what he is looking for then he will have al bases covered assuming there are no more injuries!!
