TS will then push Woody into the chair and we will go down. TS will then hand over to RS.
NWC, you obviously know little of Richard's non interest in football then. IF, he did take over the club I would be absolutely amazed.

Who is going to score the goals? We are not going to get many with the rag tag bunch we've got left having lost our best three players. No wide men (yet) two iffy keepers, plus some rookies and lightweights and a few past their best pros. But not to worry we've signed someone from Barrow who can run a mile quite quick. Any further signings will need time to settle in. I can hear that interview now

Brin, I actually know RS fairly well and indeed TS. Whilst you are correct about his little interest in football, I also know that TS will not sell RUFC. As I said on another thread, we are not that far away from the situation at SWFC - aside from the debt level. TS is living in the Championship era and thinks the club is worth £100m plus. Those days are gone but it will prevent us moving forwards. TS is stepping down at the end of this season and RS will have no choice but to take over.

Out of respect pal, where have you been told Tony's stepping aside at the end of the season? There's absolutely no news about this anywhere.

I have commented to my Son though that being 81 next year, he may well have had his full of running the club and if his valuation is met, then he may well sell up.

No news has been published on this Bri, but I know its happening from the connections I have with the club. And mark my words, his valuation wont be met.

Hugill has been given the number 9 shirt and I think him and Nombe can get bags full if Powell can supply them.

There is a strong, quality and experienced player in Hugill somewhere and Hammy is the man to find it.

I?d like to see us get a box to box midfielder and a centre half in.

I used to think/wish for the same with Hughill but he has had far too many opportunities now. His contribution to this club is right up there with Blackstock. Time he went but he wont because he's milking it. Baffles me how he hasnt had the same vilification as JCH.

Because he's always been there fit and ready and not milked it?

Can't blame him for last season as Evans didn't like him, who did he like, and only really used him when he had to.

This squad is not even a good L2 squad, if someone buys Nombe between now and the end of the window, then we will really struggle. We need 8 players at least to be capable of a top 10 finish and I think TS will support 5 additional players. How many players have left already if you look at EOC & loans is it 6 or 7? We have brought in 2 and we are excited in the press that we might announce a 3rd this week. The squad at the end of last season was at least 3 players light, the numbers and the quality do not lie, at this moment it is fair to say this squad is not fit for purpose.
