They are all mercenaries.I for one would far more appreciate it if they said ?I have come for the money to be honest. This was the best offer on the table and it allows me to try and further my career in the best league in the world and I will be off again as soon as I get a better offer from a bigger club? full stop.
That sums up almost all of our recent signings and any other club for that matter, players like JRod and Payton are obvious exceptions and could now include Bash but players and managers when signed go through the ritual of making all the right noises but are still looking to further their careers. I think Dyche would have stuck with us, like ternent given the chance but they are the exceptions. Money and family come first.

Brownhill waiting to see if Dyche gets the Leicester gig.

Brownhill knows his limitations and sticking to where he stands out in the championship, fair play to him

Burnley fans have made no secret that they think that Brownhill is not up to PL football, therefore, he has chosen to believe them and will get a better deal elsewhere and will probably have a good season. Good luck to him, he has done his job at the Turf and we have had value for money.

Last time he was in the EPL with us he was pretty bloody awful, Auf Wiedersehen Pet. We move on.

    Onwards & upwards.

If Brownhill did not shine in the EPL then he was not alone because the last time we were there not too many were much good. Berge, Odobert and O’Shea were exceptions and I thought Amdouni was also quality. Trafford through no fault of his own suffered too but has subsequently proved his value.

I'm glad he's gone Sir Outwood. Time for the others to step up to the plate. I'm expecting massive input from Hannibal.
