England being ripped apart by Sweden, our left back looks like a 2CV trying to keep up with Ferraris. 0-2

That's the worse penalty shoot out I've seen, but we won and have possibly beaten the best team in the comp.

Sweden dominated long stretches of this match and yet the Lionesses 2-0 down with just over 10 minutes to play somehow clawed their way back in to go to extra time. In a very physical encounter Sweden were the most threatening in extra time. Penalties was absolute carnage. Sweden were really tough opponents having swept Germany aside 4-1 in the group stages but old foes Spain possibly await in the final if we can beat Italy.

The Swedes turned out to Turnips, the Carter girl looked like she had never played a game of football before
. How she got picked in the first place is beyond me.

I switched over and saw the cretins take the knee. The commentator said that the England team decided that they should take the knee in every game and that it was the girls choice. Well I thought feck this I am offski

Turned it back on after Emmerdale and watch about 10 minutes. I couldn't believe how poor the England centre halfs where, they wouldn't have got a game for the Rose and Crown reserves

Dreadful standard is womans football and in no way does it deserve the media coverage it is given. I put it down to all this woke diverse bolloxxs, with most of their fans being from the LBGT community, or whatever it is called.

It doesn't matter what any of us think about womens' football because UEFA et al are determined to make it a force in football with ?1 billion invested between last year and 2030 to keep their aim:-

Unstoppable: UEFA's strategy focused on the future of the women's game

UEFA's new women's football strategy, Unstoppable, will help us take the game to even greater heights, inspiring passion, purpose and play across Europe.

By 2030, Unstoppable will help us make women's football: *

coaches and referees alongside grassroots opportunities

The home of the world’s top players, with six fully professional leagues and 5,000 fully professional players across the continent

The most sustainable and investable women’s sport, with record-breaking UEFA competitions

First game Rovers girlies play on Shawbridge I'll go and have a look, find out just how good they are, or otherwise. I'm not holding out a great deal of hope that I'll become a regular, but I'm nothing if not fair and open-minded, I'll give it a go.

Actually I'd much prefer to watch our lasses but you have to travel to Leyland for that and that's just too far. Why they can't find a ground closer to Burnley I have no idea.

I see Rovers have given their ladies team the chop and many more will follow outside the premier league regulars.
Ladies football is not financially sustaineable and will eventually fizzle out with just the elite clubs dipping their toes in to keep their main sponsors happy

I am in no way a chauvinist, but I believe that their are far better sports out there like Volleyball, Tennis, Track and field that deserve more financial support than ladies football.
