I do agree with you. Fellows will struggle in the Premier and he?s no Harvey Barnes, our biggest weakness is in midfield as both Mowatt and JM lack pace, creativity and talent.

We paid decent money for Bany isn't he a creative midfielder. If not what is he?

After that storming start when both Fellows and Johnston were finding quite a bit of joy down the wings and getting crosses in for Maja to knock in it didn't take long for clubs to find us out and as soon as they started to put two defenders on both we/ they simply didn't have the answer.

It's tempting to view Fellows's signature step-over as his one trick but whilst it is true that he has too often lacked strength in holding onto the ball he also has pace and I personally believe that he is young enough to improve on the weaker aspects of his game. He certainly still has things to learn (which is why I think some of the fees talked about ref the Everton offer are tempting) but I would personally much prefer it if we could hang on to him for at least another season.

The Nat Phillips signing should have sorted our CB issue and if the Heggebo deal goes through then our striker issue should also be resolved. Our next priority has to be a decent left-back. After that, I think it very much depends on if we can keep Fellows. If we can, then maybe look at a pacier and creative midfielder to upgrade on Mowatt (though Diakite may begin to offer more ?). If not, we are going to have to look for a right winger.

Haven't seen what Tammer Bany can do yet. He is listed as an attacker rather than midfielder on the club website and has played as a C.F. and on the left wing. If Mikey goes, I can see Bany maybe replacing him with Styles moving up into midfield behind him.

Theres definitely a good strategy at the club. Were finding gems and it seems getting under 21 quality level players who actually could be good enough to integrate into the first team squad. Over time this will do us well.I reckon in three seasons time we will be reaping the benefits. This is much better than a manager having complete control then getting sacked and us starting all over. If the club is in charge of signings, incomings and outgoings we can stay on the right page irrespective of what a manager does.

Much happier with the strategy. Just need the recruitment to be right. Fingers crossed. COYB

Reading report that Louie Barry's transfer to Hull might be off and Albion are showing an interest.

Bany needs to be given a chance as he looked decent from what I saw. Styles would be better in midfield too as he?s got quick feet and certainly no worse than what?s there.
