I would ask why do the mods allow people to come on here and talk such bollax. So 81000 people out of 47.5m people who voted at the last general election want a change of government. If my maths is right that is about 0.17% of the voting population want a change of government. No matter who's side you are on in this argument, how can that seriously represent any sort of movement against the present govt. The

Millerbill it would have to get to 500000 before it represented 1% of the population. It would need to get to 22.5 million to represent half of the voting population. Keep clutching at straws express readers.

Over 100 thousand in one day roly for a petition 99% of the population have not heard about. Give it national exposure (which the MSM won’t give it ) and your “impossible “ figure might well be reached.

The last petition got over 3 million signatures and a debate was held in January:

It is highly unlikely that the current petition will be selected for debate given that one was held so recently.

This current petition would have to have support of at least 10 million signatures before anyone would take it seriously. Why that particular figure? Anything less would generate a debate of course and then it would be ignored as being completely out of hand and consigned to the bin. Anything more than 10 million signatures would still not be taken seriously. Debated yes but binned later.
As Jean Paul Sartre once wrote, " The Die is Cast" ou "Les Jeux Sont Faits" for the benefit of our European friends.
This current Labour Government will not be changing course any time soon. The latter are controlled by the puppet masters in Whitehall and beyond.
Any Political Party which is elected to run the UK ( that's a joke in itself) will have their hands tied by self same puppet masters and told what to do.
Remember Rachel Reeves when she was crying and distressed in the House Of Commons? Poor lass had been given a dressing down by, I suspect, the men in suits. She has been made to look incompetent. Even her hands have been tied. Statistically if the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer goes/resigns the financial markets become jittery. The Prime Minister would lose all credibility, what's left of it. Sir Keir Starmer would have no other option but to seek an audience with the King before calling a GE.
    Tell me I am wrong.
