    First half observations.
    1. If it was a boxing match it would’ve been stopped.
    2. New away kit is nice.

Quite fancy us to win on penalties but I?ll settle for no more injuries before Saturday comes.

Vickers excellent, as he always is. Luxury problem having him and JWZ available. Almost a replay of the Stoke game. Little possession. Most 2nd balls falling to them. Their high press was as effective as Stoke's. When we got the ball, we were immediately under pressure with no positive outlet. Only options were a backwards pass or a lump forward. Could it be that we don't have the right fit personnel for JE's preferred 14231 system? Baath five yards out of position for their goal, just as Ozoh was for Stoke’s equaliser… both had been on the field 2-3 minutes and just not up to speed. Their original markers had just gone off. We really need to improve our handling of the type of press both Stoke and WBA used or we will be in huge bother and that has to start Saturday lunch against Coventry.

We showed, yet again, that we can defend with the best of them. Felt sorry for Daj who didn't get one decent ball all game.

Indeed, you are officially this Forum's Mystic Ram!!

We were ****e though! One can only hope that eventually Eustace will get this team firing, again it was hardly his first choice team yesterday.

Both games were similar, though, IMO. Same reasons too by the look of it as I mentioned in my earlier post.
