4 debuts and a point away at Ipswich. I think we'd all have taken a point before kick off. All the stats are in their favour. 69% possession, 18 shots to our 10, 5-2 on target, xG - theirs was twice ours, their keeper made no saves, JWZ 4. Statistically we nicked a point.

Again, a better performance from us and, with 4 newbies in the starting XI, there was some nice play to appreciate. Things will get better.

Their 1st. Many put it down to JWZ's failure to get through half a dozen players to get to the ball. Should he have gone? No, IMO. However, people don't seem to be taking defenders errors into account. Both Foz and Clarke were within touching distance of Greaves and should have done better in dealing with him. I'm also of the opinion that Greaves would have scored even if JWZ had stayed on his line.

It's a point we got away with, IMO. We gifted them the 1-0. The 1-1 was a nailed on penalty. Greaves, I think it was, who had poor control, Brewster picked the ball up, charged into the box and put it away well to give us the lead. I don't recall what the state of play was for their first penalty appeal but it's one we got away with. Ref turned it down, thankfully, as it's one they should have had. The 3027th minute of injury time one they got was also spot on.

No idea if there's any truth in it but there was a post online that the ref had apologised to JE and that the 13 was a mistake. In the end we played 16 minutes and the extra 3 was, IMO, correct. Some of that was JWZ's usual sit down. I hope he was actually hurting as, again IMO, if he hadn't initiated that time out, the final whistle would have gone before them getting the penalty.

2 weeks now to get the newbies, those we have and any we might sign today and tomorrow, integrated into JE's wishes. Of course we have, I think, 3 away on international duty, Ebou, Weimann and Johnston. Hopefully, come the WBA game in 2 weeks, we'll be on song.

Definitely should have been a penalty to them when Clarke missed his tackle.

Also think Travis could easily have been sent off too.

Strangely, given his heroics last season, I think Clark has had a bad start. That non-pen was a pen and his non-foul could have been avoided, and for their first goal it wasn't just JWZ that cocked up, Clark appeared to just forget to jump

Promising start from Brewster and where did the ref get that additional time from?

Seems Derby games are not ones to leave early this season!

I believe someone's been through the second half and confirmed 13 minutes was about right, then there was an injury and a number of subs in added time so it becomes a bit more believable

Others have done the same and say the time added on was ridiculous.

Agree, Clark has had a bad start. But, he'll come good, we know he can do it, and the squad and 1st 11 will start shaping up with some consistency which will help.
Lot's of good signs Saturday, I feel that the ref should've blown before the penalty - but he didn't, and so it's our own fault. we got a lucky break earlier, and should've capitilised.
    next time gadget!
