No doubt about it, terrific in every way. The younger players need to pay attention and listen, an opportunity not to be missed.

He is absolute quality, he understands when to slow it down, quickly play it forward.. he reads the game, he understands the game, he knows what a forward wants to do before he does!
The way he calmly plays it off their shins for a throw.. it's just a shame we didn't get a Xaha for the middle and Calvin Lewis or Wilson up the top.
Why we buy player £50 mil in Flemming and Broja to just bench warm every week. When we could have bought more quality experience to keep us up. Then reassessed next year.

You need to get to spec savers BT. Laurent just lacks the extra bit of quality at this level, he is good off the bench when you need someone to put a foot in and close down, but not good enough to play a full 90, he just isn't creative enough. Walker could see this and stepped up into midfield to give us the drive, while Josh dropped back.
A rest was the last thing Les and the team needed, its still September ffs.
Hannibal. It's ok being full of energy but the energy needs directing into the right channels. I honestly think he is a liability at this level; has he spills the ball far to easily
Florentino had a good debut and put in some excellent challenges to breakdown the Forest play
I tend to agree with BT, Laurent looks an absolute bargain to me, and all credit to whoever plucked him out of relative obscurity at Stoke to sign for us for about one million pounds. This is a lad who has been plying his trade for Hartlepool, Bury, Shrewsbury, Reading and Stoke, before signing for us, a typical average journeyman footballer if ever there was one. Yet now, at 30 years old, he's a valuable member of our PL squad and holding his own so far this season against the likes Spurs, United and Liverpool.
Good luck to the lad, I absolutely love him.

Your are spot on the money, Laurent is out of his depth at this level and whilst i understand Parker?s idea that he can drop into a five to let Walker have the freedom to venture / overlap and influence the game Laurent has no confidence to create - back up etc I feel like they targeted his side second half when Walker was exhausted and Laurent is the weak link.
Florentino for his first game at Premiership level was immense he did a very good job
( incidentally for a man who doesn?t score many in the warm up I counted his 8 shots at goal and he buried every one - no scuffs no in off posts all top corners keeper no chance ) he has a very high pedigree from what I?ve seen - how Parker?s going to include him and ugo I don?t know but I feel it would be a shame for either to miss out .
In debate BT, currently he sees protection from Laurent that no other player can perform. SP trusts him there. Personally I don’t see this as the future but in these tough games he likes. What say you mate?
