A point again infers that at present JE's approach is more likely to work away from PP. Useful result but doesn't inspire hope of an improvement in the near future. Time will tell!
IMO we?ve been second best in every game so far, and worryingly even on-their-knees Sheffield Wednesday, who I?m now watching, look a level better than we do.

Fair result on the end, but dreadful referee. Clear red card only gives a yellow, and why did the ref make Adams go off after treatment? Thought if the player whi caused it got a card the rule didn't apply.

Bad ref. But still poor from us. Weiman can't cross to save his life, his first touch is appalling, and totally passive in defence. Travis can't make a 5 yard pass. Did we have a midfield today?
Are we a long ball team now?
2 Centre backs played well, Morris and Adebayang hustled, keeper did all he could... otherwise a poor performance.
Will repeat myself, are we a long ball team now?
A better team would have thrashed us today.

I did read this week that the long ball option is becoming the ‘new’ fashion, but c’mon guys, why the doom and gloom?
It’s still September. We’re still building a team, in fact I’d suggest there are still three players who will be first choice selections who still aren’t available.
A point from Wrexham, given all the current circumstances for both sides, isn’t so bad.
Be disappointed if we don’t manage at least 4/6 from the next two games but, without having watched, today’s result doesn’t seem so bad.

Yes we appear to be, I mentioned hoofball last week. I think JE has been watching to many Paul Warne videos.

Still not picking up players in midfield. Still giving players too much time and space around our box. Windass is just one example from yesterday. Free, on the edge of the box, very good shot, well parried by JWZ. Giving players like him the freedom of the park is asking for trouble. Fortunately, this time we didn't get trouble.

O'Brien was very, very lucky not to get red for that tackle. If we had VAR, he'd have gone. Totally different game from there on but the ref chickened out. To add insult to injury, it was the ex Red Dog who got their goal.

We might still be waiting for Aggy's first goal but he got his 2nd assist in 2 sub appearances and one start.

Ref? Missed the red, why didn't we get a penalty when Morris was pulled down. he let them get away with a lot of shirt pulling including twice in as many seconds on Aggy in their box. If he'd gone down on either occasion, every chance we'd have got a spot kick. Having said that, I'm against that sort of thing. The rule makers got it wrong when they removed causality from the Laws. It used to be that contact had to be sufficient to cause the opponent to fall. Now it's mere contact in a fall that gets penalised (unless it's us that go down )... but not always, and that is the problem. Go back to contact having to CAUSE a fall and more players will stay on their feet. Forced Ebou off following treatment despite O'Brien having been given a yellow for the tackle that should have been red. H

Wide players get the ball and immediately look to play backwards. makes defending easy. IMO we got the draw because they failed to get a positive result from their good attacking play. We nicked a point.

I expect it to get better but it's going to take the players a few games yet to get used to one another. Preferred way of receiving the ball, the lines they run etc. We have the players but we don't yet have the team. That will come.

I was wondering if they have changed the rules on the not leaving pitch if a yellow card following treatment.

Surprised we didn't complain more over it.

Someone on another forum said on the Netflix show they have they pull refs apart for perceived poor decisions and a lot of L1 and L2 fans say Wrexham definitely get favorable decisions.

Of course no idea if true, it's probably not but yesterday the ref was definitely a homer.

That hasn't changed Sith. What I couldn't get my head round was Ebou being told to leave the pitch following treatment when the Wrexham player had been shown a yellow card and, shortly afterwards, one of theirs got treatment and one of ours got carded but the Wrexham player wasn't instructed to leave the pitch. That latter instance being the one that was according to the rules...

VERY frustrating. Is it lack of confidence by the players or are they instructed so to do? If the latter, IMO we don't have the manager we thought we had. A ball in the box = at least a slim chance of scoring, a ball passed back = no chance

Very odd then indeed. Maybe tickets to the next deadpool film where on offer.
