Can this please be a day of miracles? My cricket team Hampshire seemingly doomed to relegation have survived by one point. Can Burnley achieve the seemingly impossible at the Etihad?

One thing today's score line proves, is that once it got to 3 and Parker started making the subs, is how weak our bench actually is.

None of them apart from Big Les are Premier league players

Esteve having a mare certainly did not help.

Sorry to say but neither are some of the starters BC. But can we really expect to beat teams which spend 200 million at the drop of a hat.

We saw how weak the fringe players were last Tuesday night, when Cardiff were much better.Don?t think it was a huge surprise to anyone. Parker?s idea of resting the bulk of our first team had no effect whatsoever. That?s where we are, right now.

I can smell the whiff of an Easter relegation already.

We spent 100mil mate.Dont be under the illusion that we didn't have money to spend we did, we bought players with promise, that much promise other clubs can't wait to cash in, or sick notes on a discount.
If you want to compare us and signings you should compare us with Leed and Sunderland and then see how much those signings have impacted and lifted their teams.
We had money, we made our choices..

I take your point Darkness but we will never be able to get the quality of player big clubs get. These players will not come to
Burnley not just because we can't match the wages big clubs offer but because they want to win trophies. I have come to realise that though we may not have liked the way SD teams played the results were remarkable.
