I can see why they think its in the best interests of public and police officers' safety.

Also, you can't compare a football game with a protest Al. They are different things.
I didn’t want to respond to these ‘threads’ as this is why this site is self imploding. But I am glad 123 you have responded. Now i’m suckered in.
The fact that Valencia (just heard on LBC) they closed their game to both fans for the same reason: violence and unrest.. yet police do it here and it’s jump at the defence of trouble making fans? Surely i’m missing something here? On LBC they were just saying there is growing unrest of the war that’s happened with so many innocents on both sides losing their lives. It’s just asking for trouble.. and i’ll say this now.. i bet you there’ll be a lot of Palestinian flags at this game to make a point now. Which itself will cause more headlines and usual posters here will come and cry here.

The main point was WM police were worried about protests, Ok though to have leftie nutters every other week in London protesting causing a huge police bill and public unrest.

Even most of the weak Labour Party disagree with the decision. Respect your view though 123 as this is what debate is all about. I do accept Israel should not be in the competition though.

The main point about all this is what message it sends to the Jewish community who are far more respectful in this country than Muslims or Whites,

Ok though for the huge policing costs in London every other week and police being kicked and punched by leftie nutters. No public safety concerns there!

As for your comments about those coming in dinghies - well I do charity work for the homeless and they were in the news again last night. Even a big leftie in our family agrees if illegals get warm hotels and three meals a day then our homeless should be priority and given the same. Do you disagreey with that too?
Everybody has a right to housing, food and health when not in work. The homeless crisis is because for a variety of reasons they dont access it. This narrative that illegals get more than others is tosh.

Believe me with my work with homeless Matt most don?t choose to be homeless and it can happen to anyone. Wouldn?t those genuine homeless people love a comfy lovely hotel and three meals a day, I know a lad who is working for the minimum wage and lives in a part derelict house with no hot water and no heating hence the rent is very low but he can?t afford a penny more. The alternative is that or a bench!

You are right in principle Regis but my point is it does nothing for the antisemitism and believe me it?s huge here. You can?t have one set of rules for one and not the other. The cost of Palestinian protests every other week is huge and police are badly injured and properties damaged. Three protests maximum perhaps but every other week! Come on! The Jewish communities in this country are very law abiding and you don?t here about grooming, drugs or rapes associated with other ethnicities including whites!

But the point is, they get provision to housing, food and health. Thats why we have people in this country that dont work but survive on benefits and subsidised housing and in some circumstances food banks.

And please dont spread the narrative of “lovely comfy hotel”. They used to be, but now they are bunk beds in a room. That is all. They arent getting mints on their pillows and complimentary room service!

Afternoon 80. You haven't been suckered into anything. You've decided to post on this thread because there's bugger all happening in the other playground and you're finding it harder to stay away from this one than you thought 😉 .

Suggesting this site is imploding is an unusual observation given there's more life in a taxidermist's Dodo than on the shiny new swings and roundabouts over the fence 😃 .

You are always more than welcome to post your views (as ever, square root of fk all I could do about it anyway 😃 😀 😄 ) but if you really don't want to get your hands dirty I am told there's a viable alternative elsewhere.

As for Al's OP I'm not overly bothered about the Vile playing in Europe against a team from the Middle East. Enjoy your visit here and feel free to pop back anytime 😎 .

Here we go, i?m not racist i have black friends.. and now you work with the homeless. We all know that?s rubbish.

To me, this has nothing to do with being Jewish, and I?m genuinely baffled at how certain media outlets and grifting commentators have twisted it into that. Then you get the tired, inflammatory lines ?the Jewish community is peaceful (they are), but Muslims aren?t?... Seriously? Might as well just quote Tommy Robinson while you're at it.
This isn?t about attacking Jewish people or defending anyone else. It?s about troublemakers on both sides who are looking for an excuse to stir up chaos.
Ask yourself this: has a Jewish Aston Villa fan been banned for this? No? Funny how that part never comes up.

Wow - unbelievable! I actually do a lot of work for a homeless charity as some posters know. Do you know my life?

You?re entitled to your opinion on politics but even Starmer who is weaker than weak has agreed there should have been no ban. There are trouble makers in the protests in London every other week with police injured and businesses smashed but suppose that?s ok with you.

Anyway I bid you a wonderful weekend and hope you have less anger on any roadworks! Talking of which the roadworks in my town are so bad I may send a letter to Lib Dem?s who have control. Shocking state of affairs 😭

PS - one of my poster mates on here is of colour and you can join us in the Vine for a pint if you wish 😂.
