Nelms will not listen to any suggestions made by Dee4life unless it involves handing over all their funds plus the A shares which will never happen on my watch.

The details about the 1893 Foundation have not been updated since they changed the rules in May 2024.
Yesterday I was speaking to a life long Dundee FC supporter about the 1893 Foundation.
We both agreed that the funds raised by the 1893 Foundation should be earmarked for a particular topic such as the AberDNA and AU500 fundraising schemes which state the funds raised are handed over to increase the manager?s playing budget.
We do not know what the 1893 Foundation money is being spent on as Nelms has never told us.

This is your opinion. I really don't care if suggestions from fans are appropriated by the club, for the club's eventually benefit.

I assume that the Football Club (John Nelms) told the DSA committee members not to hold meetings with the Dee4life board of directors otherwise the DSA would not get their usual allocation of tickets for Away games.
Islay, why assume the reason for not talking is John Nelms inspired? It may be completely wrong and create mischief. Surely a decent Dee would not want to create trouble among groups of supporters?

I'm not 100% sure if Islay's assumption is correct but it is a fair one to make. DSA allow themselves to be dictated to by John Nelms because if they push back they know they'll lose their privilged status with him.

I'd like to add that this no rocking the boat as it ( whatever it is ) might no happen.....I'd argue it's happening right now in real time and that's why I'm so disappointed in both organisations.....it's not as if you need to be Sherlock to see we are losing supporters at an alarming rate.

We are behind the home attendees of Falkirk, st m, Killie and mwell.....4 clubs I have always regarded Dundee better supported than.

    It is happening.

We are behind those clubs, no doubt about that. And those clubs have stable or increasing attendances whilst our home attendances are declining year on year.

I've said before, John Nelms wouldn't care if he could get this stadium in place and filled it with opposition fans, he'd love to see a sea of green on four sides at a Dundee home game - evidence the ridiculous suggestion to have a Dundee home game against Celtic in Boston. Doesn't give a monkey's nut about Dundee fans.

I can see it, you can see it, a large amount of fans can see it.

There's no point in hoping the club will reborn at campy if we have lost half our support between now and whenever, if ever, never ever we move to campy.

You wud think a supporters association wud maybe comment on this and point it out to nelms.

You would think an organisation (D4L ) commited to growing the fans base wud mibbe want to hold some Texan feet to the fire 🔥

    Nope nothing.

3,000 people all can't be wrong.

What utter sh1t you spout, DSA members said they didn?t want to speak with folk like you, but the committee will meet when they have something appropriate to discuss, what do you think the purpose of the DSA is, I?m sure you?ll find it?s to help travelling fans and the club in the community, not to fight a battle for a small group of clowns that want to sit in the directors box
