Thread: Huddersfield post match thoughts.

I said weeks and weeks ago that the 9 game run was not makeshift at all, it was achieved with the right players, mix.
Which MH hasn?t a clue that they are the better ones suited. No coincidence.
If your B side plays better over that period, then they are your A side. Simple.

We need so much dead wood gone it?s untrue. First on the bus?.I can count 8.

    Dreadful performance.

Had our early goal stood there could have been a different slant on our performance but we can't keep making these schoolboy errors and expect to go unpunished.

Although Udders deserved the win they weren't actually that much better than us, I thought.

Ah well - on to the next pasting,,,

It really is a bad league, but how bad does that make us?

First thing we need to do is play the best side from the off, not wait while 60 minutes. Going behind first, chasing the game is no way to manage a team. That is the big mistake hamshaw is making. Getting on the front foot and scoring first is *****. If players don’t last at least we have the advantage.

Nombe looked good for a half, play him first. Etete….so how has the lump suddenly got better from? He looked totally unfit. So was hugebill. Kelly another. We have to get rid.

No directors on view, off on holiday.

What a club, what a mess.

Went when Etete another pointless signing was about to get on. Was better when we changed back 3 2nd half. Rest was that bad don't know were to start apart from Gore & Baptist.

Our club is in a huge decline and it starts at the top with an owner and board that have little interest and do not communicate with the fans. Recruitment is shocking and Scott has to be moved on, he cannot allowed to be involved in the window in January. For me the only player that Hamshaw has brought in that improves what we had before is Spence. What does Hall bring to that team, he is bone idol and only runs when he is recovering after he losses the ball. Martha has a child’s physical frame and plays well 10 minutes a game if we are lucky, he is only interested in the World Cup so get shut. Benson is a crock. Holmes’s has to be one of the worst CBs we have had on loan his Exeter game was clearly an exception, we saw at Salford how awful he is and Douglas looks like the seasoned pro in comparison. Evan’s spent his budget but he brought in better players than Hamshaw. The real problem though is Hamshaw tactics and approach to football. Those players do what he says, long ball to a CF that can’t jump that is Hamshaw, when we do play from the back the players don’t know where they should go to support the man with the ball, they are static, they don’t find space and the ones that do gore and Powell, are having to hold the ball longer because we have little movement from the rest of the players, all that is Hamshaw and Tonge on the training pitch, they are clearly not good coaches. If TS wants to sell a League 1 club rather than a lower League 2 club he has to ask himself is Hamshaw capable of keeping us in this league, if not then a quick change is needed because that new person will need January to get the dross out and find enough L1 experienced players to keep us up.

We stank the gaff out with that performance. I don't know where we go from here but we need to find some answers to whatever the hell that was meant to be, and quick.

We've had some disappointing results lately but that today was different gravy, I came out feeling angry. We were absolutely atrocious to a man, we never laid a glove on them. I haven't seen Hamshaw's post match interview yet but if he comes out and says we lost to a good team then he can **** right off.

It's simply not good enough and based on that, we'll be bottom 4 going into the new year.

My mate put it best when he said Town were better in both boxes. They weren't brilliant, but functional, and did the simple things well. 15 minutes of madness lost us the game after a pretty even first 20 minutes. First goal, nobody tracked the chunky lad. Second goal started with a passing error in their left-back position. Third was the sort of cross we seem unable to produce. Sadly we failed to block the ball in.
Thanks to Donny for taking the Praise and grumble headlines and also to our fans that started leaving at 0-2, allowing the rest of us an easier trip home.

I realise MH's hands have been tied behind his back for a while but, why on earth were we huffing it long all the time in the 1st half. Everyone in the stadium could see that it wasn't working and just coming back regular........

Maybe trying a more solid 4-4-2.........?

Too depressed to write much. But lots of our players need to take a long hard look at their efforts today - did we win one 50/50 ball?

Lincoln moved into 2nd - we hammered them 3-0!

Ah well, there's always the Ashes to look forward to!
