If the facts and figures of his statement are correct, we were really saved by the bell.

And, we really can?t expect that much sporting progress and success in the near future. Long term build is what they?re aiming for, and this is wise.

Though, watching our games might be a mental challenge and roller coaster.

To be fair if anyone hadn't realised just how close the Good Ship Albion was to hitting the rocks before and just after the takeover they really weren't paying attention Thomas. And if they were then I don't have a clue to what or whomever it was they were paying attention to. We came very very close to going under.

Precisely what some have understood from the outset Thomas.

We had to basically start all over again. Patience, respect and an understanding of the clubs situation is required. We will get there in time, get wherever that is perhaps but it will be upwards I’m sure. The likely hood of actually winning a trophy other than the Championship or playoff is let’s say most unlikely no matter how long we manage to stay on this earth.

Think Peace said we were a mid table championship club punching above our weight .
Not any more- we are what he said and I don't see any hope of significant improvement any time soon .
Nestor has to keep Mason to save face and money.
We are going nowhere like the UK itself at best managed decline

Nobody is disputing we could have gone bust or we had to sell those players or the odd player still needs to go. The fact is with the current squad of players we have in my opinion they are still good enough for the play offs just like Millwall, Hull and Preston to name just a few. Their players are no better but their managers get the players to play consistently decent football.

Why we are in an embarrassing position in the league and our away form is pathetic is down to Mason being out of his depth. This is crystal clear and the guy still does not know his best team.

If the useless and clueless chap stopped tinkering with the starting selections and played on the FRONT foot we could be around the play offs. Can someone tell him football is about two halves. Bostock is a cracking young player and never gets a look in and if he moves to an ambitious club like our other youngsters - good luck to the lad!

Since the take over by Patel, I have only seen this as stabilization and rebuilding over the next few years.
The playing squad is plain bang average and nothing more. I regard the squad as medium/poor and not close to others in this league.
Changing managers every "New Moon" is a waste of time and we should know, we have been doing it for some time now.
Get clear of relegation and enjoy a cup run perhaps, is as much as I have been expecting for the last few years.

It?s still really scary to even think about it though, Dan.

Sort of agree but explain to me why Millwall, Hull and Preston are in the playoffs and play good football. Their players are no better! Tell me please what quality they have over us Dubs?
