Me and my lot are giving this game a swerve too army88. I really have better things to do this afternoon (my wife says she will teach me knitting).

Obviously, it is the opposition who aren't playing ball.
Home record:- P12 W1 D1 L10 F10 A24 Pts 4 ------we had scored in 6 of those games, however, we scored 5 goals in 1 match and that was the only game in which we kept a clean sheet. We never won a home match until our 9th game and the draw was in our 12th home game.

Home record:- P11 W2 D3 L6 F10 A15 Pts 9 -----we have scored in 6 of those games, having scored 2 goals on 4 occasions when we have won 2 and drawn 1 and lost one to Fulham.

Away from home we have scored 1 more goal than two seasons ago but have conceded 8 more in one fewer game.
In the 21 matches played in both seasons there have been a total of 63 goals scored. It is all about results and it is plain to see that, in both 2023/24 and 2025/26, we were and still are on the wrong end of them.

SD got results in the PL but fans were bored. VK didn't get results in the PL but fans were happy because we were getting beat by playing attractive, ineffective football. SP isn't getting results and fans aren't happy because we are getting beat and are not entertaining.
"It's a funny old game" certainly springs to mind.
Well I must be in the minority because I prefer watching Parkers Premier league side than a Kompany one, and we don't have to put up with Kompany's arrogance

The one thing that does annoy me though, is that have a better starting 11 this time but won't improve on our 24pts of last time. This lies at the feet of Parker who is just has stubborn as old bean head and refuses to change his tactics, even when we get beat every game

Our season is dead in the water, we're as good as down already, there's nothing left to get excited about..............except a good Cup run.

Thus I'm expecting a strong starting eleven, a positive attitude, a good performance and a win. Is that too much to ask of a PL team ? I'll be very cross indeed if we blow this one.

I'm not at all certain Parker is motivating his team anymore mon ami. Be prepared to be very cross indeed at 5 o'clock tonight.

Currently watching Cheltenham v Leicester and Cheltenham are set up better than us - they also look like they understand the game and how to compete.

    I think it?s Steve coterell

On the positive side, BT, a few good ones on the bench to bring on in the 89th minute so that they can change the game!

Yes Alfie you can thank the Lions for putting some confidence back in your players that they are not down and out but know how to score goals, good result for you. but where were all your fans, some of the stands were empty but should be full for your next game. Good luck in your fight, I would love to see West Ham come down.
