Oh dear. Home form again. Maybe doesn’t matter too much this season but will next.
No complaints. Vickers saved us two or three times and can’t remember their ‘keeper having much to do at all.
On the plus side, Murkin looks a decent signing.
On the debit side, Lewis Travis…what is going on? Can forgive the own goal (however absurd, and it was) but that’s eight yellows and a red in 13 (partial) appearances. Makes Ebou look placid and not what we need from a captain.

2nd best all over the pitch, forget the play offs we're rebuilding and there's still a lot of work to do. Quite happy with the progress so no complaints.

Clearly Travis likes a game of cards, who's the Joker in the pack.

Surprised at the vitriol towards Travis, clearly the ref brought the rolling about play acting.

Hardly ‘vitriol’, Sith, but his disciplinary record speaks for itself. I think he can be a good player and I agree the ref was conned today, but a professional and a captain shouldn’t, imo, be putting themselves in that position and should be leading by example.
Getting repeatedly booked is the same as being repeatedly injured…they’re no use if they’re unavailable and running around grinning after his first (justified) booking is only going to wind a certain type of official up.

People criticised Adams for being a ‘walking card’ and yet his record is much better than Travis?.

Plenty of options online and some of it vitriolic. Personally I saw it as passion to get the game moving.

Not a word seconds later when eames was being manhandled at the other end.

Hes not got a good record I agree and he needs to sort that but I've seen the replay a few times and nothing can convince me it warrants a yellow.

I thought we competed well after a slow start against a team that could yet go up automatically. Put that performance in next week and I think we beat Swansea.

Misunderstood. Thought you were referring to the two critical comments on here. Don’t take much notice of other online sources.

The o.g. was just a mistake, albeit one that was so ‘well placed’ it was difficult to fathom and I agree about yesterday’s performance, Swansea next week and that the ref may well have been conned, but eight yellows and a red in just over 1000 minutes of football for Derby is something we can’t afford, least of all from a captain.

Some good stuff played by Derby without looking to threaten. They played some good stuff and when Josh didn'e save it, it went in. No complaints at the loss from a footballing perspective. Good debut from Murkin, good cameo from Banel.

More worrying is the lack of senior players on the bench. All got the same virus JWZ has? Good to se 3 young uns on the bench all the same.

The ref? What was he playing at? Batth gets an elbow to the face early doors (Furlong?) yet the free kick gets given against him? Furlong really deserved a card on 4 occasions later in the game. He certainly wasn't anti Ipswich.

    A game to forget.

The captain needs to be more smart there, we were 2-1 down at the end of the game, he's already on a yellow, it's a bad decision in the heat of the moment.
We're showing standard midtable form, which is fine with me, but it would be nice to see the home faithful go home with a good feeling now and again.
    Onto the next!

Agree with everything you've posted there RS, nothing more satisfying than a few home wins.

Travis. 14 aoppearances in a Derby shirt. 8 yellow cards of which 2 against Ipswich saw him get a red one. Unacceptble, IMO, from any player, even more so from the club captain.

    Someone needs a word...
