Good opticians. I would recommend them. Hope that gets me a discount on my next renewal. LOL

I think, respectfully, we must agree to disagree on the merits or otherwise of our players. One of the reasons for me watching the Alex for as long as I have is the pleasure in watching our youngsters graduate to the first team and and progress in the way, for example Lewis Billington who is 22 next month. Hard to believe that as I can't imagine our back line without him.

It was a very good point bearing in mind they were top of the league and ahead twice. They were expected to win after just beating Swindon.

It was also inspirational bringing on MickeyD who scored the second goal. I think with his ability, he would have made a very good midfield player or even a Striker. We do need more Strikers, like now asap.

Its just personal with me but young players playing for the first team, including academy graduates are not what a professional club should be doing as they are not up to speed for quite some time and why for me the academy is a bad idea. Fans should not be paying 27 quid to watch kids playing....Academy graduates should be going out on loan to the National League, not playing in our first team..

Bizarre idea sending graduates out on loan. I am surprised we haven't thought of that! Considering you are so against the loan system I am unsure why you would advocate this. I am also unsure how you expect these youngsters to "get up to speed" by not playing in our first team. We rarely put out a team entirely made up of graduates so they are introduced to the team gradually.

As for needing more strikers asap, we have 5 on the books plus Roberts and Hodkin , incidentally out on loan to lower league clubs. I am not sure we can stand any more financially without letting some go. The idea of throwing Mickey D on as a striker for the last 10 minutes was inspired but not something I would suggest as a good idea on a regular basis. Hopefully Bogle will be back soon.

As mentioned above, McGarry suggested that Bogle will be available next game/week. It was also suggested by LB over a week ago that Thomas would be ready 'soon'. We shall see how accurate either of those statements are.

It was a very good point, I suppose the only negative was we had over 60% possession in the first half and didn't have a shot on target and were 1-0 down at half time, a better second half but another avoidable goal conceded but we stuck with it and in the end it was a good point.
We have always sent players out on loan as they get the games they need which they don't get in training and is part of there overall development, they need to play competitive football and many players have benefitted from it.
On Saturday Thomas will be back but Bogle is not ready yet, needs another week apparently. Don't think bringing in another striker is the answer Bogle and Lankaster are close to a return and we do have Moult available, he might not play much but he is available and fit to play.
