Agree thought we battled. Extra praise for Imray, Diakite and surprisingly Dike and Wallace.

Poor to concede in last seconds and worryingly they could have got the winner.

Must be three points on Saturday

Good to hear other's thoughts on last night. Seems that the performance, whilst still lacking in some needed quality, was yet another improvement with all players showing some grit and fight, more attacking intent and better organization. Given the table and 9 games still to play, there is a chance that we might survive yet if this continues.

Many Saints fans commented that we should not be in the position we are in based on that performance but I think most of us know that already. We all know that whilst we lack quality across areas of the pitch this group of players should have been able to finish mid table at least. IMHO it was the appointment of Ramsay that hurt us most and spilt milk it may be but I cant help feeling that if the club had instead opted to allow Morrison his chance when Mason left we may not be where we are now. He is up against key players being out through injury and a relegation dog fight but he does seem to have them better organised, showing more attacking intent and desire. Playing round pegs in round holes helps too of course! Let's all hope that it isn't a case of too little, too late but it isn't over yet! As others have said, Saturday will be massive.

Makes you think what Morrison was doing under Ramsay if that?s true - whilst he didn?t call the shots I am sure he got his points across loud and clear.

Maybe Ramsay was affected so much by tunnel vision that Morrison was ignored?

Perhaps Ketts! If Morrison keeps us up then he will be in a strong position to get the job next season. If we get relegated then of course a new manager will need to come in regardless. To be fair there?s nothing in it at the bottom so there can be no excuses if we get relegated!
