If the youngsters want to go mon ami, you've got to take them, they'll tell you soon enough when they've had enough, then you'll miss the times when you were taking them.

Easter weekend our youngest grandson said he's joining the Sea Cadets and they do a lot of activity weekends and my youngest son said he will be working a lot of weekends because he wants to buy a house and live with his bird.

That's me done then.

I was a sea cadet BT brilliant for the young man that - thought me to swim canoe rowing just brilliant tbh.

In Bolton they have a brilliant pathway army88, Sea Cadets, Royal Marine Cadets and then the armed forces if they choose that career. My eldest grandson took that pathway and now he's living his best life in the Royal Fusiliers.
