I think we'll see a big sale as well Ian.

I suspect it'll be Tino to City personally. With Trafford and money coming the opposite way.

Contracts expiring so will go anyway:
Tripz, Ramsdale, Schar, Krafth, Gillespie, Ruddy & Targett.

I won't include these in the players to leave/save.

With 3 of the 4 GKs leaving Pope will stay but as backup, unless he gets an offer to play then he too goes with my blessing.

    To keep.

I want players to stay who actually want it.

Hall, Bruno, Burn are all committed to the club. Ramsey & Thiaw have proven themselves to be excellent additions and will stay.

    So there's ya 5.

However, with the 3 outfield and 3 Keepers going due to Connis ending the job to give the manager a squad of player that can compete in next season's competitions dictates that the rest of the squad aren't gonna by put up for a fire sale.

Unlike a lot I don't particularly mind Elanga, he's shown in moments why he was signed. I view him as the 'Miggy' replacement. That said he is an upgrade for sure. I expect more from him next season. ELANGA KEEPER

Time to go for the following:
    Willock - 1 year left
Wissa - just doesn't look like it's worked and the attitude from the lad recently, not in the 'team win photos' over Chelsea or the filth.
Osula - Good money offers are on the table for the lad. He's not got the quality to make it in the Prem/with us time to cash in.

    Leaving a squad of:

Pope, Tino, Thiaw, Burn, Botman, Hall, Bruno, Ramsey, Miley, Joelinton, Barnes, Woltemade, Elanga, J.Murphy.

    that's just 14 senior players.

Shahar, Neave, A.Murphy alll need to see some loan moves to increase their experience and come back end of next season for evaluations.

14 players in the squad of a max of 25. 11 players needed. That's mental.

The club are said to be looking to sign 6-7 player for the first team squad. Good luck Mr Wilson, you have my full support and backing to get the job done in this upcoming transfer window.

    No mean feat.!

    Who would I like?

GK - Robin Risser / Verbruggen

RCB - Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal / Joel Ordnez / Thiago Gabriel
RB - Oscar Mingueza / Daniel Banjaqui / Joaquin Seys

    2x LB (If Tino goes)
    - Dayann Methali / Hugo Bueno / David Cord?n Mancha (Davinchi)

    2x CMF (If Sandro goes)
    - Jorthy Mokio / Elliot Anderson / Lamine Camara

RW - Allan Elias / Brahim Diaz

Strikers - I Dunno - Aghehowa - tough ask without at least Europa league football.

of that list my choices would be.

    GK - Risser
    RCB - Thiago
    RB - Mingueza & Seys
    LB - Methali or Bueno
    CMF - Anderson & Camara
    RW - Elias
    Striker - Aghehoaw

9 players a big ask but there are big holes to fill in the squad.

    lol I wish!

Just someone who's either sat in Airports with lots of time to waste, I spend a lot of time watching videos and reading scouting reports.

Also building TV studios and working in sports broadcasting for 20 yrs I have a lot of contacts across South America, Europe and parts of Africa who I chat to regularly about young players who pop up with links to NUFC.

Sometimes I hear about young prospects who aren't linked but would be excellent acquisitions to the squad.

Wilson has a pretty decent rep and signed some very decent young talent 'hidden gems' whilst at Forest.

I have high hopes about incomings this summer.

Retention of players is a different matter, however, that speaks more to the attitude, personality of the players and their relationship to the manager. Eddie has been, probably too good, to the current squad. Developed the likes of Gordon from raw chancer into a regular England international.

The likes of the Tino wouldn't be in the picture for the England squad had he not had the benefit of development and exposure at NUFC.

It's a bitter pill for Eddie to swallow but he needs to get used to players moving on and not put so much stock in those relationships as it's clear that very few will show the loyalty and respect that the coaching staff, the lovely backroom club staff & the manager lavish upon the talent.

The latest addition to the recruitment team Thomas Federspiel is an expert on South American talent. I believe he was key to the Forest signature of Murillo. If so, he clearly has a good eye.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=0HYtbPCxzrw - Here's the sizzle reel. God awful music as usual but you get the idea.

He's a versatile player mostly deployed as an LB by Gremio, however, he can play across the back line.

He's got the build of Joelinton, powerful and strong.

Hall, Tino, Tonali, Bruno and Botman.

Could take Burn and Thiaw as well.

The rest I hope is replaced.
