I thought he was awesome last season in the Championship, I thought he'd still be outstanding in the PL, but he hasn't been, at times he's looked very ordinary and even been bullied. I thought we were bound to lose him this summer, but now I'm not so sure, I can't see many PL clubs queuing up to buy him. If he doesn't want to drop into the Championship I expect he'll end up in France or Germany and we'll be lucky to make ten million profit on him.

Having said that he's still our best player, but nowhere near as good this season as I was hoping. Hence the disappointment.

Esteve spent all the 1st half sweeping up after a woeful Hartman. Hartman must have had some drugs at HT because is 2nd half performance was miles better.

I said last season that Esteve is not dominant enough for the Premier league and have been proven right, he is decent on the deck but league 1 in the air. You need the lot in the top league to play CH, along with 5 or 6 goals, he has scored 1 from a tap in

Parker a disappointment has was Kompany before him, so nothings changed.

Biggest disappointment are the owners for not sacking Parker last November, the writing had been on the wall for weeks by then. They obviously never leart a thing from the Kompany debacle 24 months previously
