Coming from someone who flippantly remarks "Not like our lads at all then, when they visited Blackburn town centre, they would be found sat in Starbucks and Cafe Nero, sipping lattes and wiping croissant crumbs off their lips, as they discussed the merits of playing five at the back or whether we should utilise a low block" is a bit rich I think.

    I'm sure he is Alfie.

I was just recalling a horrible experience I had with them many moons ago. A mate of mine who lives in Yarm in Cleveland told me the Millwall fans were involved in serious hooligan incidents in Middlesbrough on Good Friday this year and he claims the Boro fans were not actually blameless either.

Pfhucking Neanderthals the lot of them.

Why on earth do you think Burnley fans are bussed to Ewood like cattle mon ami ? It's to keep the idiots out of Blackburn town centre, where they will cause as much damage as possible. In which case I have to assume that any Burnley fan complaining about Millwall in Blackburn town centre has got to be off their trolley.

When you are ten years old and walking with a rather splendid 80 year old lady who happened to be a cherished grandmother and you are confronted with some serious rampaging football hooligans it's really pretty scary.

Fast forward nine years later and while walking across Euston Station with Andrew Porter, Rocky Mills and the Suicide Squad we came across some Millwall fans who were getting a really good kicking from Irons fans.

Suffice to say the lads in Claret & Blue won the day when the pincer movement was properly engaged!

Millwall fans remind me a lot of the IDF, when they are picking on old women and kids they are real bravehearts until the "A" team arrives then it's scatter like pfhuck.

Never read such bolloxxs even from thee. Suicide squad wasn't formed until around 1980 and by that time you were in your 30s, not 19.

I suppose for the same reason the Barstewards get bussed into Burnley. I am giving up on trying to explain how a ten year old child was scared $hitless by a couple of hundred rampaging football fans.

Time moves on and plays tricks with one's recollection of events.

Your comment got me thinking about the time United fans boarded the coach we were on following a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford. (The coach driver set his fire extinguisher on them and then the Bizzies arrived.)

Going to QPR on Bob Lord's Disco Train and having a right old battle with some Chelsea fans in Kings Cross Station.

Correction: Fast forward twenty years later and while walking across Euston Station with Andrew Porter, Rocky Mills and the Suicide Squad we came across some Millwall fans who were getting a really good kicking from Irons fans.

Where does the time go? How long has Rocky been dead?
