Reform might rise as an option for the next election if they can replace Offord. Saying he has six cars, five houses and six boats was never going to draw massive numbers of normal Scots' votes from away from the SNP, in fact more likely aienated him from many. If they get a more grounded leader they'll get more votes I reckon.
Offord has also stated that he has paid ?45 million in tax which goes towards the cost of the illegal immigrants in the U.K. living in hotels
throughout the U.K. including Scotland and the daily handout these illegal immigrants receive from the U.K. Government.
Starmer stated when he was appointed Prime Minister after the July 2024 General Election that he would smash the gangs bringing these illegal immigrants to the U.K. but nothing has been done.
The illegal immigrants are still arriving in the U.K. because the U.K. is the land of milk and honey as far as these illegal immigrants are concerned. It has to stop.

    Get some humility man
Don't need humility just the courage of my convictions so yes I do think the majority of Scottish voters are wrong. Too many folk who put bugger all into society are blatantly bribed by a government who will bankrupt us all to stay in power. We're all on the road to hell!

"There are none so blind as those who will not see". That proverb about sums it up for me

You're right about the Tories and I don't think Scotland will ever 'embrace' Reform. The only hope the Right in politics have is for the Tories and Reform to merge. I don't reckon an electoral pact would be any use whatsoever. Totally different South of the border, Reform making real progress and therefore no need to join up with the Tories. Nightmare scenario for me in the future would be a Reform UK government and SNP in charge at Holyrood or God forbid independence. Scotland would be a basket case economy in less than 10 years.

    You are correct.
In my opinion the Conservative Party should have asked Nigel Farage to become leader of the Conservative Party in 2023 which would have prevented a landslide victory for the Labour Party in the July 2024 General Election.
The Labour Party leaders were not ready to run the U.K. and this has been borne out by the shambolic running of the country by the Labour Government. As soon as Sir Keir Starmer was elected Prime Minister he was looking for freebies for himself and his wife.
Over the years politicians in charge have been big talkers but when it comes to getting things done they all suffer from amnesia.

Believe it or not T w a t T is a place in the Shetland Isles.
There is also a place called T w a t T in the Orkney Islands.
T w a t T in the Shetland Isles will be taking over from Useless Island.
    It?s just Orkney and Shetland.

SNP got 40% of a turnout of less than 50% of the electorate. Thats 20% of the electorate. I think those who believe in the Union should insist on a referendum, invite Swinney to join them in petitioning the King or Parliament or whoever.
It's a simple question, Independence or stay within the UK.

It's the sort of simple question that can be easily answered by the democratic process.
The devil is in the detail, euro, means joining EU and all their regulations, hard border with England, customs, passports, use the pound. No real control over borrowing costs.
Why you would vote for freedom without knowing what it means to you is another issue. Cameron thought Brexit was an absolutely stupid idea and completely failed to take the public seriously. It was the fundamentally undemocratic way the the EU institutions operated that motivated Brexiteers. Take back control. Do deals with the rest of the world. Perhaps this could cut through and motivate more Scots to vote for independence. As an older person my worry is the benefit Bill in Scotland, including state pension and NHS funding.

I think the SNP care only about their political party, just the same as every other political party, but paradoxically if they achieved independence why would you want a party that has conclusively demonstrated their incompetence over many issues?

Apologies for digging up old moans.
