Mikey Devlin hasn’t played football in 12 months.
But he’s already better than Arnason, Reynolds & O’Connor.

You don’t know that,he could be worse.I hope not but I get the feeling we will be saying the same thing about him next season like we are about Reynolds,O’Connor,Arnason and let’s not forget Considine.

It’s just one of the many positions we need to strengthen.
We desperately need pace in to the team.
Today was about as slow a starting X1 as I can remember.

We had quick players on the bench to be fair.

Plus it’s not as simple as needing pace in the team,they have to be good as well and those players don’t come cheap.

We have had players with pace in the past,Mackie,Magennis and Pawlett to name a few and they were shyte.

Well, that was a pretty inept, insipid performance.
We looked ok for 20 mins and then some woeful defending (Ball caught on the wrong side) along with poor refereeing gave them the lead.
Same for the second goal and from then they were never troubled.

Christie did nothing.
May should have scored just before the half to give us a lifeline.

We were pretty weak throughout the team.

My comment was more an indictment on the sh1te that is Arnason, AOC & Reynolds.

Going in to a game with 5 key players suspended or half fit made it a big ask, but the manner of the defeat was unacceptable.
