DET reporting that the administrators have ‘found’ a way of insuring against Wycombe and boro claims. I’d be amazed if they had just ‘found’ this Avenue, it’s an obvious place to explore whenever there’s a transaction with any risk attached.

Not quite, AF...unless you’re looking at an unlikely later ‘edition’.
No mention of the word ‘found’...the key words are ‘exploring’ and ‘examining’.
It is reported that those involved are ‘examining’ the possibility that a £2.5m policy could protect them against Boro’ and Wycombe making successful claims against us.
The devil is in the detail.![]()
rA one might as well ignore any media comments and wait until something actually happens.
I keep telling you about the press Tricky, not to be trusted and a means unto themselves whatever the subject.

I'd be surprised since legal ATE insurance cover is usually applicable to costs and disbursements only. Also tends not to be available in judicial review or arbitration, as there is a heightened moral hazard.
But then again nothing about this whole farce has followed expectation.
If you’re right, GP...and you have been quite regularly over the more technical/legal issues...I can’t help feel that those running this whole fiasco could benefit from your input as I’ve now lost count of the number of ‘imminent’ false dawns we mere ‘supporters’ have had to put up with.
I have worked with the good Mr Hosking before, but not on this occasion.....
Ashley's PR man says he's still interested, which is positive.
Quantuma say the insurance policy thing would cost way more than the £2.5M being bandied about on social media.
Rooney says no club has enquired about Festy and Festy says nobody has contacted him....
...more proof, as if any were needed, that the Bun, the Fail and various clickbait sites are still in the business of not letting facts get in the way of destabilising Derby.
Ignore the tw@ts and let's rely on statements from Ashley, Quantuma and DCFC. They will be closer to the truth.
With regard to the EFL. They are being very quiet. Why?
Are they frightened that they KNOW MFC/WW/EFL would lose out if all the facts were addressed in a Court of Law and that such a loss would see Gibson reopen his £100M+ case against them and maybe even lead to the EFL appeal win being overturned, 9 points reinstated because the proof would be there that DCFC had kept them informed all the way on amortisation and they had agreed to it?
The 2 clubs will also know they have no chance in open court but a guaranteed win in a kangaroo court.
We're not paranoid but that doesn't mean they aren't after us![]()
