I suspect the operating lease commitment of £2.6m is for Meadow Lane. At the time of the Reedtz takeover in 2019 it was reported there were 140 years or so remaining on the lease. The fact that it went down £20K in the year suggests the annual payment is c£20k, which is still pretty peppercorn for the stadium. So 130 years or so at £20K would give you the outstanding commitment per the accounts.

    Ah that makes sense, thanks.

Apparently we've moved our training venue this season as the one we've been previously using is too expensive
Seems a bit of a false economy if we're now training at a sub-standard venue where players might pick up injuries
    Just a supposition....
You mean the one owned by Forest on Holme Road? Or am I missing something here?

    I believe so
    Don't have the details though
Just heard we've moved for financial reasons
Maybe Forest have hiked their fees?

Where have you heard this? Interesting if true, I cant see Forest wanting much money for using it but then again their owner is a bit dodgy

I think it's fairly common knowledge that we've moved training venues but not seen any official explanation
But the new venue is of far lower quality

    I've missed that.

I've noticed we started pre season at the uni but thought it might just be for testing purposes as they would have a top set up.

Hopefully we aren't training there full time as we had done before and if I remember correctly it wasn't very popular with the club.

Making him captain would have had no effect on his value or on season ticket sales. If anything it was his work ethic and there was no bugger else (and possibly to make him feel the love?).

From a Lions fan, I know you will be feeling pretty sore about losing him but our Manager Neil Harris has a good record on improving strikers from the lower leagues, Steve Morison was a good example so lets see how he gets on. In fact in your sports club I donated a Millwall flag some time back so all the best in the upcoming season, we play Forest in Spain soon.

You reckon it's done and dusted then?
If Harris is good then it makes any addon's more achievable at least.
