1 out of how many? And he his performances have been very good? So still no evidence we'll be replacing players with young players?

If the Arabs wanted our best players, why didn’t they just buy Notts

    One out of ten.

Bass, Gordon, McDonald, Bedeau, Platt, Grant, Edwards, Cundy and Tsaroulla would all fall under the category of being pro’s and having solid experience.

You simply cannot build a 18-22 man L2 squad filled with experienced pro’s for various reasons, not least financial ones. You have to offset in certain areas.

I never said we have a promotion winning squad but we are better equipped for a promotion push than last season. Already better options at wing back (when fit) more cover in midfield and better defenders and goalkeeper.

We can only register 25 players, that will include 3 goalies so lets call it 22 outfield players? When all are fit we currently have 20 registered outfield players on pro contracts with potential for more players to come in too. We're looking a bit short on numbers due to the 5 injuries we currently have but the bench on Saturday was much stronger than the one that finished the season with 5 still to come in.

When Tsaroulla and Gordon are fit, Chicksen won't get much of a look in

All very well but at this moment in time we only have 18 (yes 18) senior outfield players on the books compared to 20 last year and we know how that turned out. Plus only one goalkeeper of quality.
We need 4 in before we can let 1 out.

And the Club have said they would like blood some youth too, fans can't have it all ways.

    Let's stay positive
Both Crowley and Jones are under contract and have said they like it here
Hopefully we can sort out extensions and beat off approaches from teams at L2 level

100%. Young players need to see a pathway or else why would they come to Notts? I don’t really understand why, in the first few weeks of the season, having two youngsters on the bench would cause so much issue with some.

Ryley Reynolds got loads of minutes in PS so SM sees something there. If he doesn’t get exposure how do we know what he’s capable of?

Reynolds has signed a pro contract and is part of the playing squad so must be deemed good enough

Exactly. If he comes in and becomes a first team regular, his age won’t matter, so I don’t really see why it does now.
