The metrics say we’ve got about the exact number of points as we should.

I agree that we’re not playing well, though. The wing backs thing is driving me up the wall.

    Lies, damned lies and metrics!

We've been fortunate, averaging 70% possession yet teams are having far more efforts on goal. Teams press us high and if they score first, we are out of ideas, what the f&^% was Crowley doing at centre back tonight!

Tsaroulla has promise, like him a lot and love Crowley but, goes round and around and looks like he might disappear up his own jacksy at times.

I mean we’re going 1-0 down pretty much every game so we’re actually doing kinda well from that position. But we really ought to stop getting ourselves into it.

True, but even though the result and reward is exactly the same I much prefer conceding early and equalising in stoppage time rather than the reverse!

Possession won’t be the key metric, I imagine is more based on xg for and against, be interesting what that says for the season.

FotMob says our xg was 1.69 and theirs .83, 2 big chances us, none for them, no idea how reliable their stats are or where their from, 72% possession.

The only "stat" that matters is points on the board at the end of the season.

It’s about right, but it’s skewed a bit by us getting a penalty which is obviously a massive xG figure.

What it does show is how much we’ve improved defensively, though. Even when we play badly and teams have a half an hour spell when they’re on top and get a decent number of shots away, we are conceding very few clear chances on goal.

Platt and Bass also had good games, McGoldrick was trying hard but not everything came off. The subs did well to be fair. To say nobody turned up apart from Tsaroulla is just plain naivety.

We've drawn away with a top side in this division whilst having around 7 or 8 key players out.

I understand the frustration, but this result shows we are better equipped this season to lead a charge for promotion when the cards aren't stacked in our favour.
Could you please tell me who these 7 or 8 key players we have out.
Barrow had several key players out tonight, to me this is another poor result.

Totally agree, we're lacking a threat up front, Jatta gets very little service and as already stated, he's been in the defenders pocket for the last few games.
