It will be interesting to see the Israeli reaction to the arrival of the aid flotilla which includes Nelson Mandela's grandson and sinkov's favourite girl Greta Thunberg.

The ripples in the pond effect include everyone mein freund, even the working class in Ashington.

You always see Israel apologists like sinkov saying, “If Hamas lays down its arms there’ll be no more war, if Israel lays down its arms there’ll be no more Israel.”
But really the exact opposite is true. If the Israelis lay down their arms, a genocide ends. If Hamas lays down their arms, Israel’s planned ethnic cleansing of Gaza happens quickly and without resistance.

Israel has been very clear and explicit about the fact that its onslaught in Gaza will not end until Trump’s plan for the ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip is completed. Hamas could surrender and release all the hostages today and this ethnic cleansing agenda would still move forward as planned, according to Israel’s top officials. They’ve been completely unambiguous about this.
Anyone who says this nightmare would end if Hamas surrenders were lying. All that would happen if Hamas surrenders were Palestinians being purged from a Palestinian territory forever.

Israeli politicians and official government social media accounts have begun pushing the narrative that Muslim immigrants are a threat to Europe, the implication being that Europeans should support Israel because Israel is helping to kill the Muslims.
Israel’s Arabic language Twitter account recently posted a graph showing the number of Mosques across Europe accompanied by right wing “great replacement”-style talking points, saying that “This is the true face of colonization. And this is what is happening while Europe is oblivious and does not care about the danger.”

Former Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett tweeted last month that “Europe is becoming Islamized,” fearmongering about the number of Muslim immigrants throughout Europe.

Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted on Wednesday that “Belgian Prime Minister de Wever is a weak leader who seeks to appease Islamic terrorism by sacrificing Israel. He wants to feed the terrorist crocodile before it devours Belgium.”

The right wing whack jobs like Farage, Trump and Netanyahu don’t want Muslims to live in Palestine. They don’t want Muslims to live in Europe. Seems to me and millions of others, they just don’t want Muslims to live anywhere north of wherever.

Oh dear, BT, you do seem to worry a lot.

No point worrying mein freund because those running the show, be they Israel, Hamas, Trump, Putin, Xi Jinping, Kim Jong Un et al will not call you to see whether they have your permission to change the world. They make their own rules as they go along and if you think that little old UK and its government have any say in these matters well.......................................

"The right wing whack jobs like Farage, Trump and Netanyahu don’t want Muslims to live in Palestine. They don’t want Muslims to live in Europe. Seems to me and millions of others, they just don’t want Muslims to live anywhere north of wherever."

BT is never one to let the truth disrupt a good Lefty rant, so here are some relevant FACTS for him to ignore.

20% of the population of Israel (about 2 million people) are Muslim.

There are currently 12 Arabs in Israel's Knesset, including the three below.

Khaled Kabub is an Israeli-Arab judge and became the Supreme Court’s first Muslim member when he was appointed as justice in 2022.

Iman Khatib-Yassin is an Israeli Arab social worker and politician who currently serves as a member of the Knesset for the United Arab List. She was first elected to the Knesset in 2020 as a member of the Joint List, becoming the first woman from the United Arab List and the first hijab-wearing woman elected to the Knesset.

Ahmad Tibi is a Palestinian-Israeli politician. The leader of the Ta'al party, he has served as a member of the Knesset since 1999. Tibi was acknowledged as a figure in the Israeli-Palestinian arena after serving as a political advisor to the late Palestinian president Yasser Arafat (1993–1999).

What is truly remarkable is that after almost two years the IDF has still not been able to defeat Hamas. The amount of time, money, materials and effort that has gone into the planning of this war by Hamas must be gargantuan, if only they had chosen to put the same resources into building the Gazan economy, instead of building a formidable war machine, how much better for the citizens of Gaza. What a tragedy.

You are a RAF Old Boy mein freund why are we supplying bombs to kill kids?

An Oxford University surgeon accused the British government of failing the people of Gaza by allowing F-35 jets with British parts to bomb the children on which he was operating; an independent Gaza tribunal heard at its opening session on Thursday 04.09.2025.
Professor Nick Maynard said it was unconscionable that Britain had not ended its complicity in what he said were deliberate attacks on the children of Gaza.

The two-day tribunal in London, which is independent of government and parliament, is seeking to amass evidence of Britain’s failure to distance itself from what the tribunal organisers regard as Israeli war crimes amounting to genocide.

Don’t just take the esteemed professor’s word for it, A senior European Union official said on Thursday that Israel's operations in Gaza constitute genocide, the first member of the bloc's commission to make that charge.

"The genocide in Gaza exposes Europe's failure to act and speak with one voice, even as protests spread across European cities and 14 U.N. Security Council members call for an immediate ceasefire," Teresa Ribera said at the opening ceremony of the academic year at the Sciences Po university in Paris.

We live in one mad, bad world and unless we call it out, it will just get worse.

Well Angela Rayner has resigned as Deputy PM, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party and Housing Minister. Not entirely unexpected. I am no lover of the Labour Party but I have to say she definitely brought colour to the political scene and was in many respects everything that Sir Tony Blair and Sir Keir Starmer are not.

I can remember her flashing her ginger minge at Boris while he was trying to deliver a speech in the House. It fair discombobulated the silly old buffer.
