And so the clusterduck rolls on ............and on.

Leicester are busy signing decent players whilst we still don't have a 5th choice manager and somehow we are supposed to be thrilled that we might be signing yet another creche striker (16) who apparently might one day grow up to be a good player.

Even if we HAVE sorted a new manager "behind the scenes" and they were prepared to "start work" so to speak ahead of a formal contract being signed, no player (or their agent) in their right mind would do the same (or sign a contract with the current owner, our dear and soon-to-be-departed Radrizzani). So unless and until the EFL give the thumbs-up, we won't see anyone coming in of significance, and the only ones going out will be those whose contract with the current owner expires shortly (as in the next few days/weeks).

Difficult to explain how we manage, from the exit from the scene of Mr Silver, to go from owner to owner without ever having any that had that same passion and devotion to the club.

For all his many faults, and at the risk of getting bombed by certain posters, I'd say Bates was the most committed owner/chairman, and despite the fractious relationship with the fans (for all the reasons that we all know), he saved LUFC from oblivion and paved the way for a return (earning himself a few shekels on the way of course)

So with our saga/farce looking like going into another week, and as already mentioned Leicester signing Coady & Winks, two more than capable Championship level players, it feels like another kick in the already bruised goolies. Surely to god, next week - ownership/manager, maybe a couple of players IN.
