I think it's more the change of culture (ostensibly) that TTT is encouraged by. We cannot keep sacking managers every year. The club needs stability. Granted I'm not convinced Shabba is the man to take us forward, either, but maybe it's time for a bit of continuity.

Agreed. Managers don't get nearly enough time in this footballing culture these days. Not happy with Shabba but willing to sell if he can change that.

tbh Chick I've gone from hopeful to doubtful to very doubtful. Would we be making deals on players now if a new regime was about to sign in? Unlikely, surely they would want control over that and request delay until the takeover goes through. Love to be proved wrong.

Yes strategy for next season appears to have been set. Csaba with back room team added to. Key player releases and signing or two made.

All these key decisions you’d expect to be left and not bind hands of new owners.

Us making deals and bringing new players in is just us getting on with business instead of waiting for something to happen. I would be foolish to sit waiting and not signing anyone, then all of a sudden, the League cup is upon us and we have the bare bones of the team that we currently sit with.

I would also expect the new owner would want to get a feel for the place until they start ploughing their funds into the pit of our despair.
