We will lose on Saturday I reckon and if we lose to county as well its nightmare time.
Interesting that. Maybe this is the time when Appere can come into his own. Some great matches when he was up front with Shankland

similar player to Watt maybe? likes to drift left, so does Clark and phuck knows what Mcnulty does but maybe they will improve with a strike partner! in fact i am sure they will so why the phuck have we had one up top for years - not just Tam to be fair. No guarantees it works but there is more logic to what folk on here are saying than keep going with the square peg round hole approach. If appere could use his physical presence he would be a real asset in my opinion but alas has he had his chance?

I was in the shed on Tuesday and got a great view of the runs off the ball McNulty was making. There were absolutely loads he made but never got the pass. Saying that he looked what he was, rusty like he hasn't played for a while. The effort was definitely there though.

Point is it’s very poor return

Let’s hope things improve massively with Watt arrival 🙏🙏🙏

I do think Watt could do well. Appere has something and Clark link up is good, though he can’t be upfront on his own

What makes anyone think Watt will be better with the same lack of service that all those have had to deal with before? I get that he can hold the ball up better and he is the league top scorer, but that was with a team that could get the ball to where Tony needed it!

It's awful. I've said before, Shankland is the clubs 3rd highest scorer this season and he left in August. Brutal.

We really need to stop the lone striker thing! I know other formations bring attacking mids /fullbacks etc into the equation, but... it hasn't worked for us EVER....

We haven't (and still don't) have a central striker that can compete with two , or sometimes three, centre backs. It really is a thankless task that I wouldn't wish on any player.

There are plenty other formations that "might" work for us , but.. PLEASE ... no more solitary forwards. ESPECIALLY AT HOME!!!

Spot on . We sit that end George fox and watched Mcnulty pointing and making runs but the ball either went sideways or backwards
