Possibly PW was too picky with who he wanted. Possibly TS didn’t give him the backing and has now realised the only way to survive is to spend a bit more. Possibly a combination of both or possibly some other reason. We’ll never know either way but you can bet some people will make their mind up as to the reason and they’ll convince themselves it’s a fact.
