My concern for Monday is will the roast be done properly, will Santa have been, and have I got enough wine to deaden my senses before Tuesday

But if you want to have Christmas tomorrow be my guest, but don't expect too many at the Lane on your personalised Boxing Day!

    Merry Xmas

Last nights performance was a great improvement, playing Langstaff deeper worked really well however i think Stockport adopted the wrong tactics against us. I was very surprised that They didn't press our defenders or midfield as they surely know we struggle against that. This is why we were allowed to play with more patience and find more space. It will be interesting to see if we can play with the same confidence and positivity when we are being constantly pressed and being marked man to man

They did press us from the start but we forced them back because we did it so effectively.
The second half they sat back and gave us half the pitch.

I think what gets peoples backs up on here with him is he only posts on here when Notts get beat, he posted nothing when Notts won the play offs last season and nothing when we were top of the table.

Anyway, I was at the game. Thought a draw would have been a fair result and reflection of the chances created by both sides. Maybe a win for us if all the decisions had gone our way.

I'm definitely feeling a bit more positive about the next few games. It's Tranmere away that worries me slightly though.
