It amazes me, how they have so readily allowed themselves to be swallowed up in the "project".
Assimilation by stealth, THAT NO ONE VOTED FOR.
Allowed us to become entwined/tangled/hooked into the club. Heath knew what he was doing, but hid the truth in the 30 year archives. By which time it was too have been to late to undo,
Well sorry, it may require major surgery, but cut it out we must. They want this blue flag flying over the superstate.
From the manipulators in office, to the George Soros' of the world.
The NGO boats are funded by Soros, keep the flood going. Break down free will and sovereignty.

If it's no deal. Then **** it, it doesn't matter. If Germany and Japan can rise to world economic powers, after being bombed back to the stone age. Why are we so scared of Drunker and his mates?

I'm not a fan of Sir Tricky , but this is a great quote as above.
Its a shame that the world is now very different from how it used to be when these events took place.
I cant see how we are going to cope with out trading with the EU.
Watch the foreign car manufacturers/ investors vanish into the sunset when they have EU import tariffs dumped on them.
What is the rest of the world missing out on that they are suddenly going to be knocking our doors down to get !?.
English Cheddar , Black Puddings , Pickled onions ..?
I'm not sure we are a manufacturing power house anymore and the Banking services are all moving into the EU now.
Will someone give me a clue as to what do we have to offer the rest of the world that they cant get on their own door step at presumably a fraction of the cost ?
seems that quote we are a nation of shopkeepers might not have been to far off the mark.
    PS
I believe May promised Toyota big money incentives for them to keep manufacturing in derby when all this EU talk was starting.
It would not surprise me if we owed them an awful lot of money if they have tariffs imposed on them by the EU ( just my opinion )

Just as a matter of interest what happens to the countries that are much poorer than us but rely on selling their goods to the UK, do these tariffs only work one way?

I've no idea,we would still buy from them I assume , I see no reason why we wouldn't.
But buying goods wouldn't be the issue
    selling is the issue ,
As I said above , what is the rest of the world so desperate to buy from us now that they couldn't afford to buy when we was in the EU ?
Can anyone one identify this at all please?.
its not a wind up just a serious question.

Many companies have been slyly sending jobs abroad or planning too for a while, Brexit has given them a gold plated excuse.

Lloyds bank is another, I think we should boycott them, if you have money with Lloyds, move it on principal and make sure they know why.

Did people know that even the phone information line, charged at £1.37 per min and the e-mail info service at £5.40 per e-mail at the immigration department, are outsourced to India?

Hmmm, rather different to your "May has to go" post a couple of weeks ago. Suddenly she's playing a clever waiting game again!

What's even weirder is that Dominic Raab, someone few had heard of until a couple of weeks ago, now seems to be running the country!

It suddenly makes starting Alex Howes in preference to Elliott Hewitt look almost sensible!

New curved ball - Corbyn has said that govt contracts should be awarded to UK companies post-Brexit. That couldn't have happened without contravening a whole host of EU rules so I guess the hopes of Labour remainers are now dead. Tbf to JC he has wanted to rebuild the UK's manufacturing base for a long time so I guess this shouldn't come as a surprise. I think the guy needs a slogan for this new protectionist policy ..... Britain First, anybody?

    Interesting times!

I'm afraid it's impossible to rebuild the vast majority of manufacturing industries in the UK. Harsh economics say that in most cases the same product can be produced at a lower price abroad, mainly due to much lower wages. Retailers aren't going to look to support UK industry, the truth is that in order to maximise profits they will buy at the lowest price. Unfortunately, that won't be us!
