I can only think Kerr is on another planet if he thinks there isn’t any advantage in them that have played Bolton.
How long are they suppose to be given then?
Ok let’s help them and keep them on league, then when they over spend and find themselves in the same boat again we’ll just let it be again?
There’s got to be a deterrent or clubs are just going to ignore the rules (the rules that seem to alter every time by the EFL)

It would be an odd world if every club got into difficulties in the same way and responded in the same way. We didn't call off any games, but, with the agreement of the EFL, we played in a wholly unsuitable athletics stadium for several seasons.
If Bolton survive, I have no doubt that they will be facing a disciplinary panel in due course for postponing the Doncaster game.
It wouldn't be Millers Mad if some posters didn't take the view that Rotherham were being disadvantaged.
Yes, we have played fewer games than other teams, but doesn't that happen naturally in the season when clubs go on cup runs, or have matches postponed due to adverse weather conditions?
What do you suppose happens in a 'fit and proper' assessment? The EFL would have been presented with people who did not have relevant criminal convictions or restrictions upon their ability to act as directors and who produced documentation that showed that they had a bob or two. That’s it.
The GMC admitted Harold Shipman as a doctor as he was deemed to be a fit and proper person to be a member of that profession. Were they at fault or is it the case that they, like, the EFL, are not clairvoyant? Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Flippin eck Kerr you are on form. Upsetting everybody on this thread left, right and centre. i sort of feel comforted now that it is not just me you see as the enemy!![]()
The thing is WanChai that either the rules were different back when we were in trouble, or we gave solid assurances to the football league that we were capable of fulfilling our fixtures and also financially viable.
As has already been posted, we never had a match called off, either by the football league or just ourselves deciding we didn't want to play ,like Bolton.
Someone picked up on when I said a couple of weeks ago that I didn't want any team to go under, and they said they couldn't understand that, but my point is that by all means kick em out of the league because if ,for whatever reason, they can't fulfil their fixtures, but I most certainly don't want to see any team go bust, especially teams with the history that both Bolton and Bury have, but if they have to play their football in non league until they can regroup then so be it, but at the moment our division is being turned into what could become an unfair joke.
