That depends imho. I agree if its all about winning, but not if you think you are paying over the odds to watch something thats not entertaining. If we are playing at least some decent football to watch then prices could be higher and going to watch more attractive football is not glory hunting at all.
One problem we have is that many or probably most think of the situation as "football club" and "fanbase" and think that's how the owners still run them nowadays but its not.... To them it is "business" and "the customer base"..... they do not think of us as fans, they will not make decisions based on keeping the fanbase happy (as is evident with the transfer window and the pricing model) but see it as making sure the customer base pays what they need to hit their numbers.
Like it or not but you are a customer of their business. Crap comparison but would you keep going to the same takeaway if owners and chef changed and they ramped up prices whilst reducing quality? I get its a poor comparison due to what football means to communities etc but its not different to the owners
Of course the goal is for them to have a happy customer base and hitting their numbers but their numbers will always come first and fans blindly following make it easier for them to do it

Have to agree, especially the part where he says its even put him off English football as if English football actually means more than United to him. I couldn't give a **** about English football, the missus is a Chelsea fan so watch most of their games when they are on the box but none of them mean much to me, other than seeing her happy.
Never seen one single upbeat post from him whatsoever though, and you have to wonder why he bothers at all
fvck - if thats a serious mention TTT i guarantee i will raise you money. Any arab in need for life changing aspects and I would gladly help as im sure GB, ADS, OA etc etc etc all would. Not charity btw im 100% serious about the ramp and tangerine wheelchair (other colours available!)SRYB
Yeh but you're right it's not a fair comparison. I don't have a scarf that's got Khan's Tandoori Takeaway on it. And if I don't like a particular restaurant then I can exercise my right to go to another, whereas there is only one Dundee United. To quote Eddie Thompson - 'You can change your house, your wife, your car but you can never change your team.' There is no choice.
Now I get where you are coming from about how Clubs are businesses and 'not caring about fans' and I can see why some guys can see not buying tickets and not going to support your team as a way to 'protest'. But to me that potentially hurts the one thing we all care about, the eleven on the pitch, through lack of support and lack of finance which eventually can only mean one thing - an ever downward spiral to further deterioration and 'lack of quality'. Look no further than 250 yards up the Street for a historical prime example. And as United supporters, who on earth would want that?
and thats where my story ends! me too - i am so utd focused i really can watch a 7-1 thrashing and say we were cheated lol! Largs 4231 formations with hammer throwers is fvcking awful. Then we have played many systems with no real excitement at times. Mind you I still enjoy the banter. A 0-0 at morton in the p!shing rain on health and safety benches that hadnt even been cleaned so were green with slime, older SAS chap cracking his head, sh!t football and some chips. Hated the football loved the laughs. Dont support the owners, players or football in any way (other than financially with my admission and ST and DUTV etc) . But I still love turning a corner after parking the car or getting of bus and seeing tangerine. Home and away.
I used to have every football channel going - from channel 4s Italia coverage to SKy, BT, Setanta, etc etc. I remember watching a bolivian cup final and thinking this is p!sh. Swtitched over to chelsea v man utd or something and thought this is p!sh. To me football is a rich mans sport - Roy Keane was right once in his life - but i hope they cancel wokeism and money in the sport and make it entertaining again. Until then i will only watch united religiously and passionately.
