Took a few pics away at Halifax of our fine away support which were well received on the NCFC OSA Facebook page - thought I'd share them here as well. Was an awesome day out (even the pre match pub The Three Pigeons was a cracking boozer) and the result only made it better!

Yeah it was a great save, better than it looked on there as it had gone abit past him, he dived back and left to claw it out.

Plus the guy creamed it which you don’t really get from that angle.

Yeah I thought it was a goal when it left his boot.

The problem at Leicester though whoever is the manager they look like they are selling their best players and buying none, a recipe for disaster and a relegation battle.

I know it is a while back now but it was a very welcome 3 points so some thoughts on the game:

Prior to the goals we really didn't deserve anything and the 2nd came right out of the blue tbf. 1 up at half time could be argued as fair, 2 up was harsh on the home side, but obviously we take it and delighted.

The issue for me that half was the general movement (or lack of) in the spaces where Rodrigues would have operated in. We struggled to bridge the gap between midfield and the forwards, with JOB having a poor half. The well known issue of limited wings backs also was in evidence.

2nd half was a different story as others in attendance have mentioned they never recovered from that 2nd goal before half time. We looked very comfortable and a level above to see out the game on a shoddy pitch that cut up badly. Naturally delighted for our new hotshot hero to bag another brace, Scott get off the mark, and Mithcell continue his impressively productive start to the season which no doubt surprises many.
